We stayed two nights and had great food both evenings from the excellent menu, the breakfasts were equally good. Good choice of real ale Live music on the Friday and Pete Lincoln was a real treat on Saturday. Great village inn in an excellent location for sightseeing and gift shopping

We popped in here for Sunday lunch and although it was busy we were shown to our table by a very friendly young man who gave us the menu and said he would be back for our order. picked this hotel off the internet and stayed Sunday and Monday night because we couldn't get in on the Saturday due to them being full. Hotel was very good and our room had been refurbished. Didn't eat at the hotel but menu looked ok. Breakfast was very good. Good value for a hotel.

Called in here when staying at warkworth. Thought we would stay for a meal as the menu was so interesting and we weren't disappointed. Food was lovely especially the steal Rossini and the veg was beautifully cooked. Would def eat here again.

The Hermitage has an extensive menu, specials and a carvery Saturday nights and Sunday lunchtime. The food is average but great value. It is a good menu for children too. You can buy a local pint and house wine by the half carafe. Friendly service. They also have live bands downstairs some nights and we were very pleased to coincide...

Visited twice this week with my better half and really enjoyed the food, good honest pub grub served by friendly, attentive staff. Can also recommend the Cumberland Ale, it's a lovely pint, even better after a few!
