Really poor accommodation. Tiny room and extremely basic all round. Oh and you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms!! Breakfast was pleasant enough but in a cold room with very little service tea or coffee not topped up. Pub Ok but full of drunken locals who added very little to the ambience. Nothing much else around so I suppose...

Booked a single room for one night stay Aug 2016. On arrival I was taken immediately to Room 6 which overlooked St Margaret's church. My first impression was of sparkling white cleanliness everywhere - bed linen, towels, modern ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over it. And the shower worked first time! The double bed just about filled the room,...

Stayed for wedding in June and really wished we'd stayed somewhere else. £85!!!!! for a very very basic room with bathroom in the corridor and NO TOWELS and NO PILLOW CASES. We had to wrap my husbands shirt around a pillow so that I could sleep in the bed. - Not nice. There was about three sheets of toilet paper...

£125 a night for a room with NO sink!! Stayed at this pub on the 6-7 May 2016 as part of a wedding party with my 7 week old baby and partner. Breakfast was always late every morning by 40 minutes and on the first morning they forgot to make my partners breakfast. When we went to pay for our...

Stayed for a wedding and then an extra night. The pub itself is a proper pub and hasn't been 'tarted up', the food is good but maybe too many burger options on the main menu! Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the most expensive room which was very spacious and nicely appointed with a large bed and proper wooden furniture,...

My wife and I stayed at this B&B saturday and sunday and were very disappointed. On booking I inquired if they could provide a vegan breakfast, they confirmed that they could, unfortunately they did not ! The accommodation was atrocious, it was dirty and we had to share bathroom and toilet with all the other guests, the room was tiny...

The rooms were tiny. The beds dominated the room and left no space to move around. The wardrobe was inadequate and the bathroom was spartan. Toiletries wee not provided and there was no hairdryer. Room 6 was noisy and Room 5 had the kitchen extractor pumping food smells into the room. Room 4 was dirty. At £85 per night I...

Located in the small village of Ditchling nestling in the base of the South Downs this is a great traditonal old English pub with a large bar and restaurant and a secluded garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive and of good quality, home made. The rooms are cosy with ensuite or private bathrooms. For me...

We were welcomed by all after being left without accommodation. The room was very comfortable though small but only to be expected in a listed building. Very clean and extremely comfortable bed, We stayed an extra night. Breakfast was great. Room 5 has the kitchen extractor outside but did not disturb us.

Staying here tonight. Room is too noisy to sit in due to industrial extractor right outside window which also means room absolutely stinks. Retch worthy. John, the Manager, isn't here, but when called, wasn't even apologetic! £90 for a stinking, tiny room you can't sleep in! Furious and disgusted. Not fit for habitation.
