We are spending five days in this delightful town. The motel is modern, spacious and spotless with superb views and an amazing pool and hot tub. A perfect place to relax with the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced in a motel.

We stayed one night in Havelock on Jan 1, 2016 following one night in Nelson on our return North. The Nelson B&B was over-priced and pretentious; the Havelock Motor Lodge was much less expensive but offered so much more--excellent rooms, a huge bed, bathrobes, free wifi, home baking, a great outdoor and heated swimming pool and hot tub (with towels...

For our 8 motorcyclists we had 2 adjacent units each sleeping 4 people comfortably. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and the heated outdoor pool and hot tub were just what was needed after a long day on the bike. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the Police Station is right across the road should you...

Stopped here two nights. We were very impressed with the friendly staff, nice new room and comfortable bed. Had lots of on site amenities which included a heated pool and spa pool , although we were too busy to try these out. Situated right in the middle of Havelock means it is within walking distance to everywhere in the village....

Stayed over night here. The staff were friendly and went out of her way to help us. The view from the room was totally amazing - overlooking the harbour, boats (marina), hill. The room had a kitchen. It was very clean, well laid out, Sky TV and right next door to the local pub and up the road from the...

Needed a half way point from Picton to Nelson, suited fine. Nothing flash but can accommodate single or family eat in or eat out. Average Motel / Hotel would still stay again but only as a passing through option.

Stayed one night while traveling from Blenheim to Westport and were not disappointed. Katrina is an amazing hostess and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was special. Our room, with king-sized bed, overlooking the marina was spacious and spotless. Close to everything in Havelock. Make sure you DO NOT MISS dining at the Mussel Pot :-)

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Close to everything and reasonably priced. One of the few places that respect your wishes when you ask for a quiet room.

We stayed for one night only whilst passing through Havelock and would stay again in future. All simple but perfectly satisfactory, clean and well kept. It is nicely situated with places to get food very nearby. The hot tub is also there to experience, if you're inclined.

Thank A C
