I arrived tired and thirsty after cycling nearly 50 miles. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady and shown my twin room which looked clean and tidy and altogether quite pleasing. Later I asked where the kitchen was and the chef informed that there was no kitchen for the bunkhouse but that “some people used their own stoves”. Where...

Stayed in the bunk barn. Good value. Owner was so helpful and friendly. Ate in the bar at night by the lovely real fire. Great food especially the mushroom soup which was best I have had! Really recommend this place.

The Invershin Hotel is a must-visit. However, its true that it is quite tired and run-down. The young couple who run it are trying hard to make a success and are on a learning curve. With no apparent hotel experience they are still making a good fist of trying to make a living here in the wilds. I would not...

We came here to revisit a childhood haunt and weren't disappointed. The young couple who now run the hotel are working hard to make this a special place for all their guests - whether oldies like us or bikers! Food is served in the bar in the evening. There's live music some nights and an open fire every night. The...

The Invershin hotel is an old structure that has been renovated and recently re-opened as an hotel and hostel. All the rooms are clean and cosy, they all have a private bathroom, hairdryers, kettles for your tea, a TV and some of the most comfortable beds you'll ever find. The location is just amazing, right by the river and just...

If you are wanting to spend three figures per night for bragging rights that you have discovered the next Inverlochy Castle, then you will be badly disappointed. If you don't want to spend a lot but get real value for your money, you will not be disappointed. A mate and I were spending a budget weekend Munro-bashing in the far...

We stopped at the bar and made heaps of friends. The owners and locals are friendly and good conversationalists. Ladies' restroom is very nice and clean. This is a good spot to admire local flavor. Wood paneling adorns the bar. Warm fire in the corner. Lots of deer sheds over the bar. Cute little tables that are well-kept. Recommend. We...
