Beware. Do not stay here. During a pandemic certain precautions must be taken. We travelled 5 hours to a lost reservation. Finally got a room; stains on the sheets, dirty towels, half used bar of soap in the shower, paint peeling on the ceiling. Room was dirty. Let alone poor hygiene during a pandemic. Owner had nothing but excuses. 3 staff walking around with no face covering in the main restraunt. The only positive thing during this whole experience was staff member named Amanda. I feel sorry for her working in these conditions. There's barely any barriers at the front desk!

We are going thru covid 19 right now and rooms are to be cleaned and sanitized....this is not being done....room was not very clean. It is old and not very well maintained. We paid $140... for the night . they have chairs on wheels...sat down and chair tipped...wheel was broken....toilet was leaking and to top it all....i found a box of someones diabetic needles on a shelf...so proof it wasnt cleaned. the food at the resturant wasnt bad... also it has very poor internet.
heading home from Quebec to the Yukon I stopped late at this beautiful located Motel overlooking the lake in Matawa . I got a nice quiet room on the lake side , could park my vehicle right in front with the long glider trailer .
Thank you Luc for helping with my laundry
I wish you and your crew all the best for the future

Excellent burgers, service is good. Dining room is a little odd and maybe due for a soft upgrade! Was there with a picky eater and the whole plate was eaten! Definitely a stop from now on on my way back from visiting northern east Ontario to Ottawa
I recently stayed in a “60’s” room. It was clean enough, and thankfully the bed and bedding was ok. The room smelled musty - unfortunately the windows couldn’t open, so I ran the a/c, the bathroom fan, and left the door open when I could. Regardless, the smell didn’t go away. In addition, the other furniture in the room was very old and in poor repair. The blinds were repaired with electric tape. The only way that I would sit in a chair was if I covered it first with clean towels. And the carpet was very worn.
You get the picture. I would have rated it a one star if the room was not as clean as it was. Way too expensive for a shabby room! $39? Okay. $100? No way!
