Stayed two nights in a cabin. Unfortunately the weather rain & Wind played a part in my short stay. Thank goodness I had a book to read!

Accommodation was plain and simple but all you needed was available. The small room consisting of bed, chairs, fridge with kettle & toaster included. Heater as well but couldn't use heater for long as made the room really stuffy.

Toilet & Shower facilities were a short distance away.
The grounds, the facilities and cabin were all clean & operation of this holiday park was well looked after. "The care factor".
This place would change greatly during the holiday & summer period with noise and people buzzing around the place.

The beach is on your doorstep and town a short distance away.
Well worth a stay! One of two of my favourite places on North Island.

We stayed in a two bedroom Park Motel unit. Beds were comfy and everything felt lovely and clean. Location was great - a lovely walk over the bridge into town. Kids loved the jumping pillow and the playgrounds on the domain. Would absolutely visit again

We were are group of four that stayed for a weekend, in a 2 bedroom cabin. Cabin was nice and clean with a full kitchen and proper sized fridge. Had everything we needed. Large site area with bbqs dotted around and areas for kids to play. Close to town (short walk over the bridge), next to the sea/estuary and near a great park for the kids. I would stay again...As with cabins of this type you can easily hear everything, so you may want to pack ear plugs.

Loved the closeness to the water. SO easy for swims, beach walks etc.
Plenty fo space with tremendous access to town by walking over a short foot bridge.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was fine if a little small for all of us.
If you like water and nature and don't require 5 or 6 star this could be perfect for you.
