Write a reviewLovely little hotel just outside Argostoli. Super friendly owners and spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent value for money and great breakfast. Decent sized room and pleasant little balcony overlooking a pretty little bay. Nice restaurant and beach nearby and an easy walk into Argostoli for more choices of food and drink (6 euros back in a taxi). Can’t really fault this hotel, especially as the cost was so reasonable.

Room was a typical spacious room. The hotel was hit by massive hurricane. Under the most trying of circumstances, Petros and Maria and family worked really hard. Top marks.
The hotel is only a few minutes from 2 tavernas and a small beach, easy swimming. Also only a short 30 minute walk to Argostoli for shopping and more restaurants.
I didn't use the pool as the sea was so close.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay even with the difficulties they had to face. I look forward to going back as soon as I can.

Brilliant value. The staff are very profesional and ulta friendly.
Pedros and Maria are superb. Argostoli is a fantastic place. Could not have wished for better 50th birthday. See them again next year for sure, Much love from room 201.

Maria and pedros are a absolutely amazing pair,they are so funny and you can have a great laugh with them,the place is great,I was dreading breakfast because I would miss a fry up,but the breakfast was amazing,the variety that was on offer we really really liked,we couldn't wait for breakfast every morning.All the staff where so friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them.The air con was free and was a god send.The room was cleaned and clean towels and bed sheets every day,no shortage of toilet paper.kettle in the room.There are restaurants near and the sea and beach is close to the hotel.This is a quiet location for a relaxing holiday.

i wasnt looking for a fancy accomodation, but for some place inexpensive, with AC, comfortable and quiet near the good beaches, and there you go, i found it.
i am very happy i chose GALAXY HOTEL. the receptionist, incredibly welcoming and helpful; the swimming pool is very nice; the location is quiet and near everything (you need some means of transportation though).
The room is basic, but clean, with its own balcony; has AC.

It is a fabulous hotel and only limited steps if your room on the ground floor. I don’t recall handrails, but the owners were amazing and helpful. The location means it is not very near tavernas and shops, however Very short ride in taxi. Takeaway food is always in offer. We had a ground floor and it was perfect for us.

Hi, we didn’t hire a safe but then I didn’t see one in our room. There is about a 30 minute walk up and down hills to a beautiful cove which is much less commercialised than Lassi however the beach at lassi is big and has golden sand it’s also where the water sports are and there are lots of restaurants, lassi is probably a 45/60 minute walk or taxi ride. The other direction is Argosoli about 30 min walk, more restaurants and you can get boat trips here. I would definitely recommend Queen bee, it was the best boat trip I’ve been on run by two cheeky brothers, it was so relaxing! We are back in September and to The Galaxy Hotel, we fell in love with the island.

They will have a family room but I would not recommend to take a child of 9 years as there is nothing to entertain them
