Sindhura is stylishly designed, with a 'Moorish' courtyard with fountains at its heart and a beautiful conservatory dining area with views over rolling hills and to the sea about 5 kilometers away. Attention to detail and customers was most welcome.

Our room was spacious and clean and the food, whether breakfasts or evening meals, excellent. The vast beaches stretching to Cape Trafalgar are backed by some very good restaurants. The narrow streets of Conil and Vejer are a short distance away, and lovely Cadiz, Medina Sidonia and Jerez are close by too.

When we booked this hotel we didn’t look at the location properly and didn’t realise how far out we were from the centre of Vejer. It’s approx a 15 minute drive away. However, this put aside, the hotel is in a tranquil setting off the beat and track and allows you to relax in its surroundings. The people who run the hotel are extremely welcoming and hospitable. The rooms have clearly had some recent work done to them - our bathroom was both modern and clean and the bedroom itself had a lovely Andalucían feel to it with voiles at the patio doors that led out onto a small courtyard with a table and chairs. The views look out to the beach in Conil in the far distance which is also definitely worth a visit.
The only issue I would say with this hotel is the lack of restaurants nearby. One of the nights the hotel wasn’t serving dinner so we found a place called Iguana which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Apart from this restaurant, there are no others within walking distance.
The hotel serves breakfast on a buffet style basis with all the usual breads, cheese, hams and jams.
It’s a charming find for people who want to get away from ‘it all’.
