Just had the most amazing time at theTreasure Cay Beach Marina & Golf Resort. The accommodations were great. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I am a single mom and took my 3 kids and felt extremely safe. It had everything we needed and exceeded my expectations. Pool was beautiful. Bar and restaurants were great. Everything was close and convenient. Had an awesome guide named Ferris that accompanied us on the boat. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful time we had. A huge thank you to Steve. I highly recommend this resort and marina.
These are wonderful, stand alone units. You are in the middle of a quaint, quiet, friendly town that is gorgeous. This is not a resort but there are resort pool restaurants all around that welcome the public.
This was my second visit to Abaco, Bahamas and first time staying at Treasure Cay. The beautiful white sand beach and the stunning Treasure cay Water are the highlights of this resort. Our suite was on the Marina where we woke up to a beautiful sun rise. The food was good, however, they had Jamaican night one evening by the pool deck and the grill fish was the BEST !The service around the pool was excellent. We didn’t have any issues getting into the restaurants we wanted. A must visit is taking a ferry over to Great Guana Gay (Nippers) .We really enjoyed that!
What to expect:
The resort is older and a bit dated, there are some renovations going on. Appears they are trying to modernize which is good. Our Condo was clean, the A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable. The staff and locals in general are over the top friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed Ms. Avis. The accommodations are located right on the Marina. If you have your own boat then there is a dock available a few steps from your room. Banyan Beach is consistently rated among the top 10 in the World... Never more that a dozen people or so on it at any time during our stay. The Bar and Pool area are nice and located at the Marina.
Dining options are limited but recommend Florence's for Breakfast(Island parties and egg dishes) and we enjoyed Coco's on the beach for lunch. The Grouper Bites are out of this world.
Overall the resort has a very laid-back and chill vibe to it. No crowds to deal with and lots of available excursions if you are inclined.
Great accommodations at Mariner’s Cove. 1 bedroom Upstairs condo overlooking the marina. Walking distance to many restaurants and turquoise water and white sand beach. RO water available, Tennis, pool, horseshoes, grills, and Laundry.
