Samian Mare is better than average, but it's not something utterly amazing. I have to compliment the staff - they were really nice, helpful and wonderful. Food was very good and diverse (not best but good). As for the rooms, they were clean, simple and very nice. But...our room was facing the pool and at the night we couldn't sleep because of the noise (the pool bar radio was really loud.) And last thing was "hotel beach". It's funny to name it like that. Beaches in Karlovassi are practically nonexistent, because of the road that runs right nex to the sea. So hotel beach is just small crowded place between road and sea. But if you're not lazy, you can go to the Potami beach or Mikro and Megalo Seitani.

The hotel looks very beautiful, nice rooms and kind people. But the all inclusive option is not a real all inclusive. It includes water, sweet drinks, tea, coffee, wine and beer. If you want a cappuccino you have to pay. The pool area is opened from 10, you have to wait in your room until then because you cannot even lay on a long chair earlier. Even if you’re in the all inclusive option you have to pay for a chair at the beach which is not nice with big ferries around you.
There’s way not enough long chair at the pool (around 40) compared to the number of people staying in the hotel.
Beautiful but the proposed services and restrictions are really bad.

I stayed in the delux suite for a week with my family. The room was nice and clean. And that is about the best thing i can say about the hotel. If you don’t like the all-inclusive treatment don’t go here. This is not a 4 star design hotel as it looks on the website. The breakfast quality is bad. And the coffee is worse. If you don’t reserve a sunbed before 9 forget about it. The pool area/numbers of sunbeds is way to small. So all in all - the room is nice but the rest is not. Samos is nice but you can find other hotels that are much better.
