I was travelling alone visiting my daughter who works at the holiday village nearby. These apartments were very spacious and spotlessly clean. The manager and staff were very friendly and welcoming, even got a fresh cup of coffee each morning from the manager. I arrived very late in the evening and reception was closed so I just asked in the supermarket adjacent and within a few moments someone arrived with my key , showed me the basics of the apartment and left me to unwind. The pool area was perfect, enough sun beds with comfy cushions to go on top, shady and sunny areas all day long. My apartment itself was a room with a fridge and separate shower room. The shower always had hot water and was powerful enough. I had plenty of wardrobe space and much needed hangers. The bed was a good sized double and I slept very comfortable. These are well equipped rooms for the price paid. My balcony was larger than average and I loved spending the mornings looking over the pool and listening to the going’s on in the village. Located right in the middle of the street but surprisingly very quiet. The supermarket attached is great value and well stocked for basic essentials. I would definitely book these apartments again if returning to Sarigerme. Thank you for a very nice stay Ismail.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is located just beside the main bazaar street of the Sarıgerme village. Its one step from the shopping area but very quite.
The room was clean, and was in good condition. The pool was good for cooling down.

The beach is 1 km away from the hotel, it can be reached by the minibusses passing from the main street.

Just got back from 9 days in Sarigerme, a quiet village near Dalaman. If you are looking for a no-frills, relaxing and friendly holiday, away from the hordes, I would recommened this beautiful area. The beach is a 15 minute walk and along the way you may be lucky enough to see some mountain-climbing goats. The beach and sea are fantastic for families - you pay 3 lira entrance (young children are free) and this gets you use of showers, toilets, children's play park etc. There's a lovely shaded picnic area, where they also serve snacks including burgers, soft drinks and beer at normal prices, as well as Turkish gözleme (a kind of very thin bread pancake, stuffed with meat or cheese etc or chocolate for the ankle-biters. We recommend the potato one). There's a gaggle of five geese waddling around, amusing/terrifying people with their weirdly coordinated movements. The beach is sandy and clean (apart from a few cigarette butts, alas - and this from a smoker. Sadly one of the recurring features of Turkish beaches, but there were fewer than most beaches I have visited here). The sea is great fun, very clean and lots of (usually) small waves; it's shallow for quite a long way, so perfect for kids or adults who love a good splash about. There are water-sports such as para-sailing (it's nice and breezy - you have to remember that it's still hot enough to sunburn very easily, so cover up in t-shirts and slather on the factor 30-50).
The village itself is pretty much just a stretch of shops. You can get everything you need for self-catering in one of the 3 or 4 mini-markets (if you buy a bottle of wine they can uncork it for you if you foolishly forget your corkscrew). There are also the usual trinket/souvenir shops (not tacky, they have some lovely bowls, bracelets, and glass candle holders/lamps) as well as clothes, handbag and shoe shops. The owners are nowhere near as pushy as in more touristy areas, although they'll give it a bit of a go. But once they realised we weren't in the market for a pair of jeans/'Louis Vuitton' handbag or whatever, they remained friendly and we had a nice on-going bit of banter whenever we passed.
The Sarigerme Apart is a newish place bang in the centre of this strip. It was exactly what we were after. Simple, spacious (for the price) clean family room, separated into 2 areas. 1 double and 2 single beds. 2 balconies - one overlooking the pool and one overlooking the back area where you could watch the chickens and roosters running around. There are 4 blocks, each with 4 apartments. There's a decent sized shower/toilet, a kitchen with basic cooking equipment (no oven, just a hob, bit each block has its own barbeque - mangal in Turkish - that you are free to use) and a good sized fridge with an ice box. The cleaners come every 3 days and provide fresh towels and bed linen.
Ismail, the manager was incredible. So friendly and helpful. We had a minor problem with one of our air con units and he came up immediately and fixed it himself. As we had evening flights home, and no one was booked into our apartment, he generously let us stay the whole day at no extra cost. Obviously this isn't always possible, but demonstrates real care for his guests. He seemed to always be working, but happy and smiling the whole time. Lovely man!
It's not a luxury apartment, but if you want to relax and have fun with your family and enjoy the freedom self-catering allows you, this place is perfect. The Sarigerme restaurant nearby gives a 15% discount to guests at the Apartments. Really nice food, with a kids' menu (but big portions) and lovely, friendly staff.
We were on a pretty tight budget, but had a fantastic time. We also went on the 12 island boat trip - don't miss this! I've been on several boat trips in Turkey and this was absolutely the best. We went with Panda Tours (recommended to us) - again, ideal for families and Daddy Panda is a great host! You will definitely see turtles, but probably not dolphins.

The only (tiny) negative about staying in Sarigerme is that there are no buses from/to Dalaman airport (yet...?) so you need to take a taxi. There is a set rate of 70 lira. Atilla at the airport (as you come out of arrivals you will see the taxi guys) will sort you out. On the way back, Ismail arranged our taxi and it was there on the dot.

Hope you enjoy your stay. We plan to go back there soon.
