Ibis Budget Hotel is looking very new and it's a good stay for one night, near the highway. Shower and toilet in the room and TV. In the morning we did a good breakfast with coffee, fresh bread and croissants.
We stayed in a triple room which comprised a double bed and a single bed which you pulled out of a cupboard.
It was a bit cosy with the extra bed out but absolutely fine for an overnight stay.
I liked the fact that the single bed was already made up - I hate having to put the sheets on the bunk bed when we stay in other Ibis Budgets (a fact that will make me choose another brand of hotel if similar on location & price).
The ensuite shower room functioned perfectly and was plenty big enough.
We didn't have the breakfast as French breakfasts rarely work for gluten free diets so can't comment on that.
Location was relatively easy for the autoroute although due to roadworks our sat nav struggled to get us back to the autoroute.
The hotel is new so still very clean and shiny. Staff were helpful
We are a family of 4, we booked a family room for the start of the half term break to go skiing. We turned up at 2am, the car park was packed (small spaces) but managed to get parked OK. There was no-one at reception, so you get your room code by typing in your booking reference, and voila - your room code.
Room was rather spartan but had everything you need - including an en-suite (a rarity for any 'budget' hotel). Breakfast was a bit manic - coffee / croissants / pastries / yoghurt. Convenient nearby Carrefour with filling stations to get any provisions.
All in all, excellent value for money - no complaints. It was strange though to leave the hotel having not spoken a single word to any member of hotel staff - presumably a way of keeping costs low. We would return.
