My parents traveled from Mexico and stayed at Il cuore during the Christmas holidays. It was the best choice to stay there. The room was cozy and clean, amazing breakfast with home-made cakes and they were treated so kind by Daniela and Beata who gave their best to make them feel like at home. My parents don't use tripadvisor but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to recommend this place and thank the hosts for all their kind and friendly treatment.
Beautiful B&B in the heart of Massa. The room was wonderfully decorated and impeccably clean. The owners were super nice. Very quiet location, close to restaurants and bars. The breakfast was also superb.
We had an absolutely delightful stay at B&B il Cuore for 8 nights in Massa. We found Daniela and Beata to be such generous and helpful hosts. They helped us with tourist spots, shopping, places to eat,
We stayed in 2 rooms which were spotlessly clean, including an immaculate en-suite, all of good size. To keep us cool at nights was a most welcome air conditioner. The rooms were well supplied with towels, bedding, bathroom supplies and places to put our things.
One of the major highlights each day was the breakfast. It had freshly made cakes, fresh bread, cheese, ham, cereals, juice, yogurts, croissants, jams, etc to keep us well fed to face each day. We were also spoiled with hot drinks of our choosing each day to add to the delights.
Massa itself was a lovely busy town with good shopping, superb restaurants and a fantastic beach a few miles down the road
All in all, we cannot endorse the B&B Il Cuore enough. The accommodation, ambience, hosts and area are a tremendous base in which to visit the superb beaches, towns and markets of Tuscany.
Thank you ladies for your hospitality, and a lovely stay!
We spent 3 nights at Il Cuore in January whilst visiting an old friend. We received a great welcome and found the facilities charming. Despite the many items on display, the place was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and had everything we required. The en suite was spacious and the shower was great. We also had a living room to use if we had wanted but we were too busy with friends to take advantage. Our hostess was very chatty and friendly. She speaks some English although we speak a bit more Italian so mostly used it for communication! The breakfast buffet was extensive with fresh coffee/tea prepared to order and home made cakes, toasts, jams, fruit, yoghurts, hams, cheese, cereals all on offer. The location is perfect just a 2 minute walk from the central Piazza D'Arancia and there are numerous places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. Massa is a bit off the tourist route but we found it perfectly charming and close to many gorgeous towns and beaches as well as the famous marble quarries.
Using Trip Advisor's website is giving me trouble today, but I was so impressed with this B&B I'm trying now for the third time to post a most favorable review.
We were extremely impressed from the moment we stepped through the door and saw the marble floor and stairs and the wonderful antiques. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the parlor nearby and used it every day. There is also a private garden available for the guests with more antique marble pieces.
Breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruits and juices, breads and jam, ham and several cheeses, pastries, coffee, etc.
Altogether this was a wonderful place to stay. Many thanks to Daniela and Beata!
