My mother and myself stayed at Comfort Zovko last week. What a wonderful place, the hosts were so generous and kind from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lots of extras, cake and home produce. The room was spotlessly clean with amazing views from the large balcony.
Great location between Dubrovnik and Cavtat. On the number 10 bus route which runs every half an hour from early morning until late at night. 18 Kuna to Dubrovnik and 20 Kuna to Cavtat.
The Plaza beach was only a short distance away but lots of steps to tackle.
Walking distance from Comfort Zovko (turn right) is a pizzeria just 5 mins away on the main road. Good food and very cheap but no frills. The Flimingo reastaurant in the other direction is better.
I will definately book again to stay at Comfort Zovko......Simply the best!!!
An extremely friendly family run appartment. The room was immaculate and we had wonderful views. We were so glad that we had booked a car as the location although good was a little isolated in terms of access to restaurants, beaches and shops. The hosts were generous with crops from the garden and some excellent cake. To walk to the nearby villages is quite dangerous as there are parts of the route with no footpath.
Spotless, clean, modern and crisp 2-bedroom apartment with balcony and eating terrace; both have breathtaking views of the Adriatic sea towards Cavtat.
Most people staying at Comfort Zovko return each year and we can understand why!
Jelco and Valentina, and their parents are the best! They are so lovely, friendly and helpful - really make this place very special. Jelco even took us to Dubrovnik port at 6.30am for our onward journey. Their father's love is his garden and he is keen to share his produce - from the most delicious tomatoes to home-made liqueur!
The beach at Soline is beautiful - quiet, crystal clear water, rocky - need sea shoes and lots of energy to walk down (and up) the 370 steps! But well worth it!
Comfort Zovko is conveniently situated on the bus route from Cavtat to Dubrovnik, which we used each day, although we would recommend hiring a car for the flexibility.
Nice, clean, new and crisp room with breathtaking views on the Adriatic sea.
The hosts could not have been more lovely. Be sure to bring your walking shoes because the area counts a lot of stairs, but definitely worthwhile to walk down to the small beach of Soline.
