We drove from Frankfurt after a long haul flight from Singapore therefore we were very tired. The hotel location was found using rental car GPS and it was accurate! Thank goodness. The view from the hotel is amazing and we managed to catch the sunset. Room is clean and we also had a nice dinner at the restaurant serving italian offerings. Delicious! Caught the sunrise from balcony of room the next morning. Awesome sight packed with great breakfast. We liked the warm croissants and bread that was freshly made amongst other spread. Parking is available right outside of the hotel and it’s free. Easy to unload and load bags.

Nice little cosy hotel and restaurant close to Davos (technically in Davos Wiesen). Honestly, there is not much to write about that is so outstanding. Many rooms have nice views, the service was friendly and pleasant, the decor is good, the breakfast buffet was pretty reasonable (although it could start earlier for those wanting to ski), the dinner was OK. So overall, it really is a nice place, but that's also pretty much it.

Listing some of the elements that would make it a 5/5 for us: the dinner food could be better, the breakfast buffet didn't have any vegetables, there is no dedicated internal/heated room to store ski gear, the room we had had some small unuseful design elements, etc. Nothing major as you can see, but still. For 150 CHF a night in a small village (OK-OK, we know, we are in Switzerland and 25 minutes away from Davos) a 5/5 for us looks different!
