I've stayed many times at this cute place because of its convenient proximity to the bus station and because the owners are lovely people. So it was an obvious choice recently when I took my friends and two children to Gokarna over a weekend. Luckily I booked 2 rooms because all the rooms upstairs where I normally stay were full. We had two rooms together on the same level as the family's living space but were given a separate key so we could access the room from a gate on the balcony. Both rooms were good value, the one without balcony being slightly cheaper. If you want hot water you can collect it using a bucket upstairs where there's tap for such a facility but it's so hot in Gokarna town that it's much more comfortable having a cool shower anyway. Soap and clean towels were provided for all of us, plus a mosquito plug for evenings. The rooms are always immaculately clean, as are the bathrooms, and the mattresses on the beds are plump and comfy. It's located down a quiet side street so you don't get any noise, but is within easy walking distance of the town and bus station. We loved the gardens surrounding the guesthouse which are beautifully maintained and full of flowers and chilli bushes. Just a lovely peaceful place to stay when you're in Gokarna and with very reasonable room rates plus delightful, accommodating owners...

We stayed eight nights. This is a calm place and our eight nights went very quickly. Our room was simple, clean and big enough to feel comfortable during our stay. The guesthouse is very close to the bus station, but set back in a quiet residential area that is amongst palms and leafy green gardens. It's a very good location for enjoying the town, with many restaurants within easy walking distance, all good too, and all the charms of everyday life, shops, temples and markets. The owners were polite, personable and professional, and really create the space for a relaxing time. The Gokarna Town Beach is a short ten minute walk down the side lane along the creek, and Kuble Beach is an easy twenty five minute walk, with Om a bit further along. Staying here provided the best of all options for us to enjoy Gorkana and the nearby beaches. Friendly hosts, we definitely would stay again.

Well,, to start,Gokarna is a small town, and from that perspective this location is good. This also has a car parking which is a big advantage unless you are planning to stay in a high end resort.
Apart from that, room was pretty basic and low lit. This is more like a place where you need to crash for the night. So if that's the idea go for it. But otherwise you may find it a little inconvenient. again that depends on the money you are willing to spend and the amount of luxury expected as well.
Over all an average place.
