Hi, can you tell me please are pool towels included/available? I’m only there a few days and bringing hand luggage so not much room for a towel. Many thanks

We really had a great time at this family-run hotel! The standard of service is admirable: the room was very clean and all requests were catered for quickly. Very child-friendly :) Tasty breakfasts. A good restaurant and bar at the pool area. An exceptional Greek night when you can taste Greek specialties, listen to the music and even dance some folk dances with enthusiastic soloists. A 5-min walk from the bus line if you would like to explore the historic Rhodes city or the nearest old towns Ialyssos and Kremasti (with its beautiful church Panagia Katholiki). Highly recommended.

Arrived in the early hours, check in was super quick and had time to get a drink from the before it closed at 1:00 am. As stated in other reviews the drinks are expensive, for Greece that is, beer 4.80 euro for 500ml but the Mojito's at 8 euro were worth every euro, made with branded rum and fresh mint, lemons and lime from the hotels gardens. Drinks at the neighbouring restaurants, were similarly priced but not as good a quality. Breakfast was a choice of hot and cold dishes, fruit, yogurt, breads etc., Spotlessly clean, room wasn't very big, very little wardrobe or drawer space but lovely views of the pool and could just see the ocean. All in all, a lovely, hotel.

Room Tip: Room 219 was a smaller corner room but had two balconies and got the sun in the afternoon.

We had ordered just breakfast at Matoula beach hotel, but they were enough to
be fully satisfied till lunch. See is about 100m away, the people who work in registration were amazing, always with a smile and happy to help in anyway! We did not need our travel agent for anything. The prices in pool bar could be a bit lower. In general really happy with Matoula beach hotel.

You can’t beat this wonderful island, hotel and staff. It’s a great hotel and location if you like a relaxing time. It’s not over crowded and you don’t have to fight for sun beds. The beach is beautiful and looks out over the Aegean Sea.
The rooms and pool at modern and very clean.
The flight path of Rhodes airport is more of a fascination than problem.
Greek night is great especially if you have a go yourself.. great for embarrassing the kids!!
The water park is across the road, is really good fun and value.
Food is simple but caters for all and there are some great restaurants a short walk away.
We totally recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic 10 days here in June 2019. What can i say - Loved it! The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We made some great friends including Manos & Panos (evening bar). The hotel rooms are cleaned daily. There are an abundance of sunbeds and the pool is perfect. We chose the bed and breakfast option and found it to be ideal. Of an evening we wandered into Ialyssos (a 20 minute walk down the beach) and had some beautiful meals at Pezouli restaurant. We loved wandering around the shops of an evening too. Good choices and loads of bars. There are some nice restaurants right by the hotel (Pegasus - the owner is a truly lovely man and they provide live entertainment twice a week. Food is delicious too) and also Rosemary's - Food also delicious but staff not very attentive (Great if you don't like having a chat i suppose). I cannot fault the hotel. They provide live entertainment twice a week. The Greek Night is a must. Others have complained that it seems all the hotel's family turn up (it's a family run hotel!). I thought this actually made the night even better. Greek people love family and what better way to showcase your traditions than with great food and great company. I cannot fault this hotel in any way. If you don't mind a 20 minute walk (or a 5 minute taxi ride) into the town this hotel is a must. It has everything you want and an abundance of friendly staff to make your holiday perfect. Even the beds were comfy!
