Stayed Saturday nite at the hotel
Awesome hotel-Clean, nice room, plenty of space, great staff and shuttle drivers.
Would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the Atlanta area
We really enjoyed our stay! I appreciated you all having a wheelchair for me to use in order to get to and from my hotel room. Room was clean and nice size. My husband and I will stay at your hotel again!
Even though I only needed to stay one night I was impressed the minute I walked in the lobby. Fresh cookies, the staff was very nice and efficient at check in and check out. My room was big with 2 queen beds. The room was clean. Also very easy convenient location.
Checked in and went up to room and it wasn't the room type we booked (booked 2 queens and was given 1 king) so went back down to lobby and got another room. Finally got to correct room and it was VERY uncomfortable. A/C unit was set to 70 degrees when we came in, but it was around 80 degrees in the room because of the new Enviro friendly thermostat Hilton has installed. We turned it down to 64 degrees when we left for dinner (hoping it would be a little cooler when we got back) and it only went down 2 degrees because the motion sensor on the thermostat didn't detect any movement. We called down to front desk and they confirmed it was a motion sensor thermostat and there was NOTHING they could do about it! They brought us up an old fashioned box fan for the night and told us they've had several complaints about this new "enviro friendly " system. Any time the panel doesn't sense any movement, it shuts off. (Hello - what happens when we're sleeping.)
Also, our entire toilet was loose at the floor and wobbled terribly.
Being prior Hilton Diamond members for years, if Hilton continues with this, as the front desk called it, "penny pinching", we will certainly be taking our money elsewhere.
