Rooms vary drastically. Some are updated...some are not. No telling what may be in the kitchen-very well stocked or best of luck to you. Both pools are cold. Not suitable for younger children. Also outdoor pool is mostly in the shade so don’t go if you want to tan. No hot tub. Pretty good place to stay but not awesome. Watch making reservations as you cannot get out of them even with extreme circumstances. No heart by the owner. Proceed with caution!!! Good deal for a reason
Pleasant condo, has a bed and pull out couch. Oak Square offers a pool, on site laundry & ice machines.
Dated decor, room had a smokey smell though was booked to be smoke free.
Our room had a small table, plates, glasses, cutlery, refrigerator, range & microwave. Some other rooms have an oven as well.
Bathroom requires work, shower head pipes coming out of the wall, hot water would disappear during a shower, still worked in the sinks, though very little water pressure in bathroom sink (other facets okay) - very odd water in the condo we stayed in.
Lady working evenings was difficult to get a second roll of toilette paper from, stated we didn't book through Oak Square, upon seeing we did grudgingly provided the extra roll.
Overall, a quaint room that gives you space for a short break, place to sleep, park & clean up. Second year I've stayed here, will likely stay again.
My husband & I came to town with no reservations & fortunately these condos downtown had a few openings.
It was late at night just before the office closed, but the manager was so nice to take us up to see a 1BR & also a 2BR (the only 2 vacancies).
We opted to take the 2BR because it was roomier. It didn’t have a balcony, but it was clean, comfy & we slept good. We did not use the pool, but we did smell chlorine in the air as we walked past it.
These condos are on River Rd catty corner to Bennett’s Pit BBQ & 1 block off the Parkway near Ober Gatlinburg aerial tram.
I think we paid at tad over $100 a night plus tax, so we felt it was a good deal & would recommend it to others. It’s definitely one of the most affordable condos in town & is within walking distance to just about everything.
It’s great for people on a budget!
The staff was very friendly. Room 206 was nicely furnished. Couldn't get the lamps over the bed to work. The only downside was that the advertised indoor pool was not open. Was looking forward to it. Would stay again though. Walking distance to the main drag from the property.
We booked 2 months in advance upon arrival without warning we were moved to a sister facility due to our room flooding. The other condo had no pool and Oak Square was broken down. We came there for thanksgiving and Football with the whole team.
