This is a charming pet-friendly Motel off the interstate with well cared for grounds, including picnic tables, bbq, adirondack chairs, a play set for kids, covered wagon and Telsla chargers. There's also an indoor pool. It was also nice to have our room door open to the outside given that there are no mask requirements in the state despite the most recent CDC guidelines.

Me and my family spent couple nights at the covered wagon and I must say we had a great time , the room was very clean and comfortable not to mention the breakfast it was lovely. I loved the heated pool and jacuzzi it’s really warm and relaxing, also great staff Sam and his family are really nice and made sure we were comfortable at all time. I definitely would stop there again.

We stayed 10/22. I've driven by this place so many times and just wondered about it. So this trip we stayed here at a reasonable rate too I might add.
The new owner lives on site and told us the history about the property - wow it goes way back. There are pictures in the hallway by the breakfast area that show the progress through the ages.
Our room had quilts on the bed (one was torn in the corner). The carpet was old and green but it was clean. The room was spotless actually. Yes, it's an older hotel but I couldn't find anything that I could complain about, nothing. The bed was nice, sheets were clean and towels were just fine. It was quiet too!
We asked for a recommendation for pizza and the owner/manager sent us right down the street. Oh yea look at my other review on that place.
When we came back we ran across the parking lot to the pool/hot tub room. The pool was so warm and the hot tub not overly warm....the room room itself was warm as well! The fact that this place even has a pool and hot tub, albeit you have to go outside to get there is great! I hope they let locals use it as it's a real treat in Lusk.
In the morning it was snowing so we decided to get up early and get going but before we did we checked out the breakfast room, which had all the normal morning eatery things.
This is a cute, historical hotel/motel and we look forward to seeing the progress the new owners make on updating the rooms. We'll be back!

Booked this room as we have family in Lusk that live in a very small home. We had my 5 month old grandson with us, so cleanliness is super important. I had read about the complimentary breakfast so I brought my own protein. Well, I didn’t need to worry or bring anything to eat! Upon check in I asked about the pool and Sam told me he keeps it a little on the cooler side because it’s been so hot out. When I told him my grandson was going to swim with his mama he offered to turn the temp down on the hot tub! Wow!! It was awesome! My daughter said it was like being in a therapy pool and my grandson slept very well after his swim. The room was super clean- even the bathroom! We stay at a lot of Hilton properties as we travel quite a bit and this hotel could easily be a Hilton property. Oh! The breakfast: eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, sausage and all the other usual hotel breakfast items ( oatmeal, waffles, toast) were very tasty filling and full of the protein I need in the morning!
I will NEVER stay anywhere else but here when visiting Lusk❤️
