It was ok but although there was different types of hair in the bath tube. There was holes in the blanket on top on the sheets and had holes that look like it was Burnt In the holes. The hair dryer didn’t work even when well plug it in. The front desk person was nice. And had a good time in the pool.
You get what you pay for at this hotel. Kind of old and run down, but clean. Pool is nice. Nothing to do real close to the hotel, but restaurants about 20 minutes
away. Great for people on a budget.
Front desk staff were nice.
If your looking for a fancy hotel this is not the place. It is clean, reasonable, and has a swimming pool!!! Another plus is its a short walk to downtown Luck. We also took advantage of the restaurant next door. All in all a good experience.
This review might be influenced by our previous night's stay (see review of Green Acres in Spooner, WI) but we really enjoyed our stay at the Luck Country Inn. The room was nice and very quiet, the rate was great, there was a pool and hot-tub, and it was $35 less than the dump we had stayed in the night before.
My only complaint was the paint was peeling above the tub/shower area and definitely needed to be re-done.
I've stayed on a weeknight a couple times, almost the only one in the hotel. The pool is excellent, don't miss out on the nice hot tub and sauna. Stop in at the supper club in town (Luck E Tavern) and enjoy some old school eats.
