My friend and I stayed for a week
Lovely polite staff
Nice clean hotel
Breakfast buffet is really nice
Lovely big clean pool
There was no kettle or coffee / tea in your room so you cant sit on your balcony on morning or evening and chill with a cupper.
The snack bar was only open for a few hours a day.
Only had one English channel which was BBC news, only so much news you can watch 🤣🤣
Try to eat in a Spanish restaurant there food is so much nicer home cooked and way cheaper
The beach front food is expensive but poor quality food
Recently stayed at the hotel for 5 night bed and breakfast with my daughter. Please do not be put off by the outside of the hotel and the look of it as once you walk through the doors you see just how nice it is. Our room was really nice spotless and clean with bed linen changed regularly and towels changed every day, decent balcony with view of the lovely pool. Only complaint about the room is the TV no English channels. Breakfast was very good lots of choice and very fresh didn't eat there in the evening. The pool area was nice always sun beds available and lots of space although we were a little disappointed that the pool was so cold as we enjoy swimming but only went in once during our stay because of this. Pedro who works in the bar is fantastic so cheerful makes great cocktails and even brings them out to your sun lounger which is a excellent touch. All of the staff are professional and friendly a special mention to Magdelana on reception. The beach and main restaurant/shop area is about ten minutes walk down hill. Can recommend La Pinta on the road behind the beach and Bar/Restaurant Playa on the sea front excellent cocktails. The hotel overall is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday other than the pool being cold and there being no English tv channel. Just one other thing I feel I need to mention the hotel mainly caters for German guests and this wouldn't usually bother us however we were made to feel very uncomfortable in the dining room by certain German guests not just by their rudeness but also staring and making comments we couldn't understand. The other thing we noticed was that none of the guests in the hotel seemed to interact with other guests and I honestly feel that if the hotel was predominantly English guests that there would be a difference. All in all a nice hotel for a relaxing stay.
Stayed for a week at this Adults only hotel. Very clean and tidy, nice pool plenty of available sun beds. Rooms all seem to have pool view and are fairly large. No kettle to make a tea or coffee in the room, you will need to buy at the bar, although up to 18.00 hours coffee and cake is good value at 3 euro, and the slice of cake is huge. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and bars etc. Only complaint I have is, one night took a bottle of water into the restaurant (which was given to me at reception) was told by the head waiter, not allowed I have to purchase the drinks from the restaurant. I pointed it out that it was water and I needed it for medicinal purpose, to wash a tablet down, but he just tapped the menu and said you must buy water from here. Just to reinforce this he removed the glasses from the table as well. This spoilt my over-all opinion, which otherwise was good.
Stayed here on my own and I’ve no complaints. I stayed in room 3201 which was by the pool and on 2nd floor. It was a small compact room but it was reasonably quiet and the WiFi was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone smiled. I’m gluten free so was a bit worried about the food but I had no problem. The breakfast was varied and there was gluten free bread (there were other gf things too like cereal and muffins but I prefer to eat naturally gf food). The lady who made omelettes to order was lovely. All the usual fruit, cheese, meats etc in offer. The evening buffet was good - the gf dishes were labeled and all the fish and veg was gf. Plenty of choice. The wine was very reasonably priced and lovely cheese course to accompany it. The exterior of the hotel is lovely and the pool is huge with lots of space. It’s a good walk downhill to the center of the town but it’s a struggle on the way back if it’s hot. Overall though I enjoyed my stay.
I spent 5 nights in this hotel. When I chose a hotel I have only 1 need: wifi in the room. I have rejected cheapest hotels because wifi was only in communal areas. Unfortunately in this hotel also, in my room the wifi wasn’t working. I asked to change room but my wish wasn’t granted...when I just read that somebody changed room 3 times!!! My room didn’t have a balcony, just a space outside, and the room was buried down a kind of ‘garden’ probably the reason wifi was no good. Air conditioner wasn’t working either and I didn’t feel safe sleeping with the window open given the position of the room. After taking a shower my bedroom got flooded twice not sure where the water was coming from. The room was a total disappointment.
The strenght of the hotel is in the outside space, the amazing pools, and the beds in the garden.
Food is not masterchef...but is always various and lots of choice and I really appreciated it. Paella is yummi!!!
Over 18 only means an amazing calm, silence and quiet, thank God for that!
Outside there is a very friendly cute white cat that add more to the hotel😻
There are always plenty of sunbeds and you get a towel without the need to pay any deposit.
Would I come back? Unfortunately not. I am a single person and later at night keeping in contact with friends is important. No chance to watch tv since there are only 20 german channels...nothing in English. Oh except BBC news 24hours🤨 No wifi so I couldn’t even watch netflix or connect to my country tv on my tablet. So very boring and lonely nights. I wish the hotel had specified that some rooms like mine or the ones far away near the pool, as the lady at the reception said, don’t get connection. Otherwise it is false I wouldn’t have come if I had known it. 😞
