Stayed here for one night, a change of plan meant we booked it at very short notice because we were due to stay in Ulm but realised at the last minute we didn’t have the necessary environment sticker to drive into the city - lesson learnt! Anyway it’s a nice little hotel in two buildings at either side of the road, rather basic and could be cleaner, there where a couple of dead spiders in the corner of the room. Breakfast was ok. The lady on reception was lovely and helpful. It was a short walk to town where there are a few restaurants and bars.
We stayed for 3 nights in a family room. We had a lot of space (except in the bathroom), good breakfast, free wifi and parking, friendly staff. A 5 minute drive to Legoland and a 5 minute walk to many restaurants in old town Gunzburg for dinner. All around a pleasant experience. We will stay again when we return to Legoland.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights.
We are a family of 4, and we got a very large room.
The room was very clean and pleasant.
Although it was on the main road, the windows were thick enough and it was quiet.
Breakfast was nice too. Free Wi-Fi. Free parking.
It is a good place to stay if you are going to Legoland :-)
We staid in this hotel last weekend with other two family-friend and was perfect for all......
Breakfast......perfect...a lot of different food
Room......perfect, cleaned and with all confort
Hotel's people.....very friendly and available for any request....
This was a Legoland overnight. After some heavy searching I was only able to find space for 5 in this hotel.
I was very surprised at how simple this hotel was despite the high ranking in tripadvisor. First of all it turns out that that hotel was a 3 star. It also turns out that "Romer" is a "Rome theme" for the hotel. I found the decorations in the hotel very tacky and uncomfortable. We had wall paintings in our room. Some of the bed linens were also strange colors.
Staff was nice receiving us and explaining how and where to park our car so we could remove the bags (busy street, no shoulder).
We had the biggest room in the hotel probably for 5 people. We could barely move around the room since the couch was opened into an extra bed. The bathroom on the other hand was almost 5 star and huge.
Breakfast was boring.
I have reached the conclusion that Legoland needs new hotels. This one needs a full redesign.
