I almost hate to write this. This is the most pleasant place to stay on the planet! So I don't want it to get so popular they won't have room for us. I've stayed in many campgrounds and some have more "stuff", such as pools and mini golf etc. but this is just a simple peaceful camp. It is adult...

Truly a riverside delight! Sites were mainly level, sloping a bit towards the creek. Gravel surface was firm and secure. We had a 30-amp site with steady power and good water. Sewer is a holding tank on each site. Well-kept grounds, a fun office (owner bakes brownies!) sparkling clean laundry room and your pups are welcome everywhere!! A bit of road noise but mostly masked by the creek. They have purchased land to build a dog park, so it’s coming. We will definitely return!

I almost hate to write this. This is the most pleasant place to stay on the planet! So I don't want it to get so popular they won't have room for us. I've stayed in many campgrounds and some have more "stuff", such as pools and mini golf etc. but this is just a simple peaceful camp. It is adult only so it is extra quiet. All you hear is the sound of the Moose River. Children are welcome to come visit but must leave in the evening. Everyone is SO friendly. On weekends they have cookout or pot luck dinners followed by a bond fire and sometimes live music. I just left and I am looking forward to next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I just got back from a 5 night stay at this campground. We could not be more pleased with our stay. We had a back in site # 13 by the river and it was perfect. You can't go wrong with any of the sites by the river, the view is beautiful and the sound of the river so relaxing. We were very entertained by the ducks and their babies. The sites are a little close but this didn't bother us, the campers are mostly on the older side and turn in early so we enjoyed our fire without feeling like we were annoying anyone. As far as any negative reviews I have to disagree as we found the owners very nice and I honestly believe they try to point out to parents that there is not anything for kids to do, not to be mean but just to let you know it's not a big campground and no room to play catch, frisbee, etc. There is no pool or playground either. It's very clean, well groomed and an adult campground, not a ride around in golf cart and drink all night kind!. We frequently camp with our son, daughter in law and 2 grandsons so we know kids like to run around, ride bikes, have fun and be loud, this isn't that type of campground. We always read reviews and try to decide for ourselves if we will enjoy certain features. I would recommend this campground for adults who want relaxing low key camping. They do offer a group campfire and music on saturdays however we were not there during this time.

They are right by the Moose River. We had site #12 and our bedroom window looked right at the river. What a sight to wake.up to! The owners are absolutely great, they treat you like family. They even have a Belly Ache Tour maps, which by the way its Wonderful. It takes you to all the sugar houses, Cabot Creamery and Ben & Jerry's ice cream tour. If your in northeast Vermont this is definitely the place to stay.
