We booked partially because they have an indoor pool, which we wanted to make use of for the kids since it was spring break.

Staff were pleasant and lobby is nice. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty looking and stained. The door to my room required such a hard push to open that being quiet was impossible. The pool was nice. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was clean except when the sun shine showed the smears on the windows and glass divider by the bed.

Thank you holiday inn for being exactly what was needed!
This hotel had everything, from a spacious work out area to abeautiful outdoor pool experience with barbeque and hang out area just feet away.
The rooms were modern and clean and large for the not so large price tag!
The front desk and the service in the lounge/restaurant area was superb!
The cook they have on staff was not only amazing and skilled in his area but he was generous and personable as well, which made for an even more exciting and joyous experience all around!
I highly reccomend this hotel if needing a nice clean, beautiful, spacious and in close proximty to everything kind of place to stay for either business or pleasure!!!

So I booked this place for 1 night with 2 teens over spring break in 2019. I will say that there wasn't really anything to negative. Just nothing spectacular. So the cost after taxes and fees and the $5 for parking was about $155 for a night. I'm not a hotel snob. I've stayed in motel 6 (and worse) and I've stayed in the extremely nice and expensive. This wasn't a cheap motel but it didn't offer anything that would make it special for the price. I can't complain and say it was a bad hotel, but it wasn't worth the price.

Pros
Clean rooms, lobby, and hallways
Good location
Nice beds
Nice breakfast
Plenty of parking

Cons
Many of the plugs in the room didn't work (teens need to plug in)
half of the lights in bathroom didn't work
no towels in the indoor pool (there were some hand towels in the gym we had to use)

If you are going to stay here, make sure you get a good deal, it isn't worth more than about $90 per night tops.

Hi Jason S,

Thank you for the feedback. As you step into the upscale lobby, you'll be greeted with modern comforts while enjoying an excellent location that places you near the vibrant heart of downtown. I am glad that our accessibility is to your favor and the spacious parking got your approval. While staying with us, we love to offer relaxing beds and a hearty breakfast. I am thrilled that you were able to experience this during your stop. I do understand that the lapses with the ports in the room and the insufficient towels caused a gloomy impact on your stay. I apologize for the inconvenience. I have relayed your thoughts to our hotel's management and showed their genuine concern. I am certain appropriate steps will be applied to eliminate the setbacks.

We hope you give us another try the next time and look forward to showing you our improvements.

Happy to assist,

Clarisse S.

I was in Dallas for the holidays. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as it was close to where the event I was attending was being held. I must say, my stay at this hotel was amazing. The hotel is new and is in a great location. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The room was very large and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was large, clean and modern. Large television, double door locks, central air, a fridge and coffee maker inside the room. The pool and exercise room were in the same area. The pool is quite large. The exercise room is pretty small but is complete with free weights, but has minimal exercise equipment. There is an LA Fitness center right next door, but it is not part of the hotel stay package. There is also plenty of spaces for parking. The breakfast the hotel provides is pretty tasty and plentiful. The location of the hotel was convenient for getting to the airport, highway and convienience stores. There is an AMC theater across the street, and outlet mall, several restaurants and its near plenty of places to shop. I definitely recommend this hotel and if I’m in the area again, I will make plans to stay here.

The main benefit to a Holiday Inn Express is that you get consistently high service and this hotel is no exception. The staff is great and the accommodations are high quality. Make sure you book online to save $10-$20. It's strange that I walk in and they quote me $110 and I walk out to the car and I can get $90. But that is the way with all hotels nowadays. The breakfast is good and the lobby is nice. The indoor pools are good for winter, but not fantastic. Every room has a microwave and fridge, which is a must if you have small kids.
The location is great to visit Dallas, but it doesn't have the downtown Dallas prices. I highly recommend.
