I transferred here from a motel (which shall remain nameless) which was too disgusting to stay at another night, and it was lovely. Clean room, good amenities, impressive hot breakfast with make-your-own waffles. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely seek this chain out on my next trip to US.
We had multiple reasons for staying here, price accesibility to the attractions we wished to see, easy off/on interstate, etc. Check-in was easy and as the staff were very busy, our interaction was limited, although not unfriendly. Professional would be a good term. Our room was nice and clean and well appointed. Everything smelled fresh and clean. There is secure parking and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good with a large dining area. Since you are near the airport, be advised that you may occasionally hear an airplane taking off. Not too loud, or annoying, but certain will capture your attention. Our only complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows past their prime. Try as we might, neither of uss could find a comfortable spot and spent the night tossing and turning, waking in the morning tired and sore. CHeckout was simple and easy. May or may not stay there again when in Memphis.
I just wanted a decent, safe place not too far from Graceland. This hotel delivered. The breakfast was good and the dining area was bigger than many I have experienced. The room stayed a little humid the whole time I was there, but otherwise it was clean and serviceable.
If your looking for a reasonably priced place to stay within 20min of everything in Memphis than this is your hotel. Having said that there a few issues that need addressed. The rooms are ok but the hallways need updating they smell horrible, like musty wet smell and small ants made it to our room on the second floor. There wasn’t a major issue with them but no one wants any type of bugs in their hotel rooms. They do have free WiFi and nice beds and TVs. The front desk service was great upon check in and when an issue arose with our key cards they took care of it right away so thank you for that. Good place to stay if visiting Graceland it’s within 3 miles.
The reason I booked this hotel is because it says there is an airport shuttle. They do have one, but call before for details. They have limited hours and limited days they work. They told us the night before to call down to the front desk 20 minutes before you need to leave. We WENT DOWN to front desk because no one was answering the phone at 7:30 am. They told us it would be about 30 minutes. After 40 minutes, they finally showed at 8:10 and we almost missed our flight. The shuttle works two hotels and you are at the mercy of the driver. We dropped off our rental car the night before and needed a ride to the hotel - shuttle had stopped for the day so we had to Uber it. It was 7:00 pm. Call before you book if you need shuttle service. When we got to our room - it wreaked of smoke - yes smoke. It is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. We asked for a different room, and we were able to move down to the second floor. It was better. The rooms are old, the floors creaked and were slanted, the halls stink, the elevator stinks, the breakfast was mediocre and employees were non existent. The young girl at the front desk needs to smile once in awhile. There was no soap to purchase for the laundry room. There was no one running the breakfast and supplies and milk were absent. ONE girl was handling the breakfast bar, the front desk, the marketplace, and everything else. The owner needs to hire some people because your hotel needs help. We will never stay here again. We are not hard to please, but this place was a joke - one of the worse I have ever stayed at!
