We had a powered site for 1 week. The amenities were not cleaned on the weekend we were there. 2 campers near us parked on other sites (one set up onto our site) causing difficulty for us and the manager didn't want to assist at all. The pool was not cleaned other than the creep crawly being put on. Even though there were water restrictions, taps were dripping in the larger ladies amenities block and the laundry and couldn't be turned off to stop the dripping - needed maintenance of the washers or something. The site itself was lovely - grassed, power and water. The location was good being on the Nambucca River with a boat ramp. I assume that the owners are not on site and not in the area - only want the income without putting any money into the maintenance. The manager and staff are not on site - so when the power went out in the middle of the night on a Saturday (with reception not opening until noon) the reporting involved numerous calls with the person on the phone telling us to check the trip switch. Given that anyone on site heard the huge bang in the night, we knew it was more than the trip switch!

We stayed here for a week with a big family and everything was PERFECT!!

The park manager Tom is very nice and so helpful!!! The park cabins are all spectacular! We had family members in the Deluxe riverfront cabins, deluxe 2 bedroom cabin, 2 bedroom cabin, riverfront cabins & the standard cabins. Everyone was extremely happy with their cabins with the obvious deluxe cabins being the best pick as they were new! Even the standard cabins were still clean. The facilities at the park were great and we never encountered any issues

We loved the park. No one was ever bored as the river offered us lots of activities. Tom also offered us the Parks Kayaks to use during our stay and the boys loved fishing off them. The park pool was a treat the kids loved it. We also visited many of the local beaches and they were AMAZINGGGG, the waters were pristine, clean and so refreshing. I can honestly say that this was one of the best stays we have had in a long time!!

There is also many grocery shops, cafes, cinemas, fast food, etc close by making our stay at Nambucca heads (Pelican Caravan Park!) even better.

Thanks to Tom, Darren and the rest of the team!!

We pitched a tent here overnight on our way to Sydney for Christmas and also on the way back. We stayed during what I suspect would be the busiest time of year and it was what you would expect from a caravan park. The property was well maintained with a range of sites from right on the river to some closer to the highway. Tom the manager was great - he lent us an extension lead as forgot ours and also gave us some local tips for where to eat. The pool and camp kitchen were very good, and the shared amenities were fine. We would be happy to come back, especially during less busy times.

We stayed here 6 nights on our way up to Qld. Service was extremely friendly from Tom, who couldn’t do enough for us. We opted to pay a little extra to stay on the river, which was well worth it. The facilities were fantastic. The pool was a real winner with the family. We loved the beauty of the place, the peace and quiet and serenity. Highly recommended.

We have spend a few days in Pelican Caravan Park over New Year and our stay was amazing. We stayed in river side cabin which was clean, had own ensuite and air condition. Park also has a pool and is pet friendly so we could take dog with us.

Park management was very helpful giving us tips where to go and what to do.
