The hotel seemed fairly new, everything was in good order and very clean. The room was comfortable. We had a truck and trailer and found ample parking with easy entrance and exit. The room was spacious and comfortable. Would stay again.
My husband and I spent one night, on our return trip from the Oregon coast.
The hotel was just ok. Lots of little cosmetic things that need to be addressed. The elevator base boards are scuffed, and in need of painting. The bathroom toilet paper dispenser had been replaced, leaving a couple of screw holes that had not been repaired properly. The bed skirt fabric was beginning to pill. The office chair needs to be replaced, as it keeps sinking down when you sit in the chair for extended periods of time. The bathtub texturizing to keep one from slipping is badly stained and didn't look clean. For the price ( 131.00) I expected it to be nicer.
There was never anyone at the front desk, every time we went past the desk. No one there upon arrival, and no one there upon departure.
I didn't eat the breakfast on account of covid so I can't comment on that.
There were no cups in the room ( probably on account of Covid,) and no list of tv channels, or a manual about the Hotel with recommendations of places to eat. Again, this might be due to Covid.
The hotel was quiet, and conveniently located off the freeway. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We would probably not stay again.
My husband and I stayed here after traveling all day and found it was a very welcome place to stay. Nicole at Check in found us a great room at a great price. She was on the ball and was able to do check quickly and efficiently. We stayed on the first floor in room #124. It was at the back of the hotel and we never heard a sound from other guests or any outside noise. The breakfast was very nummy. I appreciated how breakfast was still offered, although it was no longer a buffet style breakfast. We had to "order" what we wanted and it was put in a "to go" container to eat back in our room. Breakfast for me consisted of scrambled eggs, pork sausage patty, toasted bagel, and apple juice. It was an appropriate amount of food and it was all hot. I did not choose to have any cold cereal or anything like that. Neither my husband nor I swam in the pool as we were too tired when we arrived and we left too early the next morning. When we first entered our room, we noticed that it was sparkling clean. The bathroom shined and the room had no dust or anything out of place. The cleaning staff really does a great job of keeping things clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend staying here when traveling through the area.
Because of Corona Virus breakfast was not provided, but there was no reduction to the room rate because of that. There was also no coffee provided in the lobby area.
Everything else was fine with check in and out and the room. The price of this hotel is a little on the high side.
After a 600+ mile drive from our previous night's stay we were ready for a quiet, comfortable place to crash. The HIE in Pendleton was the perfect choice. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The room was large and well appointed. The shower was a high-volume massage experience that I found therapeutic after 9 hours behind the wheel. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return to this property.
