Do you have a meeting room that would accommodate 100 people for a luncheon meeting? We would also need a block of rooms, approx. 10 rooms.

Overall this was a really nice place, All the rooms are on the same side of the building so they all have a river view. The Interstate runs right by it too so it tends to be a bit noisy but if you are like me and run the AC all night you won't really notice, There is a Safeway right next door which is super convenient for food/snacks. My only complaints would be that the sink in my room had a lot of small cracks. Not enough for it to leak but it looks kind of tacky. A new sink isn't that expensive and can be replaced in an hour or two so no down time for the room. My only other complaint was the when I booked the room I wasn't sure of the dates (I was in town for a funeral) and had to add one day to the end of the reservation. I asked the desk clerk if i could check in for both reservations or if i needed to to check in for the third night later. She assured me that I could do all the nights at the same time and filled out the paperwork accordingly. However when I checked out I was told that "it caused problems" because I needed to have checked out and checked back in. I explained that I had specifically asked that and was told that I didn't need to. She again told me that this was not correct and that next time I should check in separately. I didn't make a big issue about it at the time but my thought for them is this. This is a training issue with your staff and has nothing to do with me as your customer (and reviewer). I likely would have overlooked the maintenance issues and given the full five stars if not for this interaction literally as I was headed out the door. As they say, you have one chance to make a first impression.

Hello Tacoboy4000, I hope you're doing well. I'm glad to see the high ratings you gave for the cleanliness and quality of sleep during your stay. I am so sorry to learn about the problems you had with the sink in your room. I understand the inconvenience this issue may have caused, and this is not the dependable value that our Holiday Inn Express hotels are known for. I will make sure to let the hotel management know about your concerns for the necessary improvements needed on their end. Thank you for staying and for the feedback and I hope you will continue to choose IHG for your future travel needs. If you have any other concerns, just contact us again. Warm regards, Dianne L. The people of Oregon are among the nicest in the world. Three ladies at this Holiday are a part of that truth. Lori, Rene, and Sandy went out of their way to be helpful. Lori found a way to put us in the room of our choice near an ice machine; it's right across from the doorway. Rene dealt with an obnoxious guest ... who did not say that he did not want to be near an elevator; he just complained. Sandy helped me to locate a place to get a car battery. When the first one did not work out, she helped locate a second. When the second did not work out, she hehelped locate a third. Great service, Ladies! BTW, I've read some of the other reviews about this hotel, and I did not find it a "bit run down." (See my photos.) I found it new, neat, clean, and modern. The complimentary breakfast was great. I returned the tickets for a couple of free drinks offered in between five and seven PM. And the hotel is designed so that at least most of the rooms, if not all of them, face the river.

I just arrived at this Holiday Inn. The room is clean, but some of the furniture and the carpeting are a bit run down. There is a faux leather chair and ottoman. The surface has areas of deterioration and the piping is worn and bare. The carpet has several stains and there is even something like gum stuck into the carpet. I was expecting more.

My first trip to Oregon for my nieces wedding, and the room was perfect for my needs. Breakfast buffet available, rooms clean and with a microwave and refrigerator, indoor pool and fitness center. Staff was amazing, on-point and helpful. The only catch is there is no shuttle from airport, and if sightseeing, best to get a rental car. Other than that I was very pleased with my stay.

The hotel is a fine facility at a reasonable price. Every room features a view of the Clackamus River. Monday thru Wednesday there is an evening reception featuring salad bar and chips and salsa - and one free drink. Our main motivation to stay is we have relatives who live in and around Gladstone. It is currently undergoing renovation, but the work may have been stalled during the holiday season. It did not impact our visit.

Questions & answers about the rooms

I would just call them to ask. I'm pretty sure that the breakfast and evening lounge area would be big enough to handle at least 50-75, but I'm not sure what the maximum capacity is. I have found mid-morning through mid-afternoon to be a good time to catch one of the senior managers. Good luck! -Julia
