I had arrived much earlier than I had expected for my quick one night stay in Cleveland and decided to go to the hotel to at least drop off my bag, I was very surprised when I was actually assigned a room, what a pleasant surprise it was (it was around 11am on a Friday). Everyone I met in the hotel was very nice with the conversations I had. I did have one disagreement with a housekeeper because she didn't want to exit the elevator before a guest and I told her I was raised that ladies first so either we were both stuck on the elevator all day or she was going to get off first. The room was amazing, I don't think I've ever had such a spacious area after looking around I felt bad I wasn't going to be in town longer. The hotel I'd brand new (spring of 19) the location is great the signage I'm guessing because of local laws is a little bit of a challenge but watch for the strip shopping center and there it is.
Home Sweet Home
Newly constructed Inn. Wow! When I opened the door of the suite, I was transported to design heaven. Open floor plan with completely equipped kitchenette adjoining a furnished living room and large desk with smart, streaming TV and electrical outlets. Décor is in grey contemporary tones. We even had a view—open fields. The deluxe bathroom was really well designed—ultramodern with similar detail. The bathroom foyer had a large closet on one side and cabinets on the other. I wanted to take the whole bathroom home with me. More drawers were in the center nightstand. All in a brick building set back from the highway. The better restaurants are a bit of a hike but looks as though this area is in development mode. A hotel shuttle is available for short distances and Cleveland Airport (3 miles). The hotel staff invited us for hors d’oeuvres in the late afternoon; we were surprised instead by a small salad and meatballs with noodles. Social events are held weekly for guests--check the front desk. Breakfast was included; the dining room was bright and inviting. How long will all these goodies last is unknown…so go now before others find out and pack the place. The prices vary, depending on suite and length of stay but, as of now, they’re taking over-night guests. Not enough? How about an indoor swimming pool and outdoor firepit?
Stopped here on a whim on the way home from NY. This is a NEW property that has a great staff and great suites! Breakfast was hot and a decent variety too! We will definitely stay here next time in Cleveland!
This hotel is about 14 minutes away from the airport and is located in an area with a great selection of restaurants. My only complaint was that the remote control in the bedroom also worked in the living room area so you had to shut off two TV's to go to sleep. Lol.
This stay all the way around was absolutely amazing. The guest service was very accommodating and helpful with this being our first visit. The room was HUGE AND BEAUTIFUL! The pool was very nice! There is even a basketball court! Staff recommended the brew garden which is .7 miles from the hotel and offered their shuttle to bring us there and back. Highly recommend this restaurant, their outside bar/patio is so relaxing and the food was great!! The shuttle driver was so friendly and VERY informative of the city. He helped us map our trip into downtown and assisted in getting our train tickets. (We don’t have public transit back home). We had a lot of fun in downtown Cleveland and highly recommend “the flats”. All the way around this was an amazing trip and i really dedicate most of it to our relaxing stay at this Residence Inn! 😊🙏🏼
