Avoid here on a Saturday
There's no serenity on a saturday night. We had a noisy party in the room next to us go on until midnight. Appears some inconsiderate locals booked a room and invited over 20 of their loud mouthed friends around for a big party. No onsite management or security.
Any other time its a pleasant place right on the beach with a nice pool.

Fabulous!
Great location right on a quiet beach.
We had a 1br apartment on the ground floor for 2 nights, cost was $400
Very clean modern unit with everything you need for a much longer stay. Kitchen very well equipped and a full laundry.
Bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
Comfy bed and pillows, big flatscreen TVs x2
Small pool, but big enough to do laps if not too many users.
Public beach with grass and picnic tables right at the front door. I think the locals like it here!
Good hosts, check in and out was easy.
Recommend for couples and families.
Will stay longer on our next trip.

Weekend Away
Stunning views, beautiful and clean, helpful and love the friendly welcome especially love the resident dog Mac
You can see sunrise from your room and there’s a lovely swing set that you can sit on to watch the sun rise and heaps of rocks to climb and look for creatures in the pools we will definitely be back!

Stunning hideaway
We came here for a quick getaway from Townsville. We met up with our daughter & Grandies.
What a perfect spot .. accommodation was wonderful. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with self contained kitchen, lounge & balcony.
Delightful .. it is just a short walk to the beach. Our daughter got the penthouse 2 bedrooms & bathrooms with 3 toilets & laundry. This was huge!!
We were all surprised at this gorgeous spot.
You can rent paddle boats & snorkel gear from the desk.
We absolutely loved this resort. It almost feels like you are on your own private island looking out to the beach.
We all agreed that we will definitely be coming back.
It also has its own pool too.

Great position, really clean, lovely staff
Right on a really beautiful swimming beach, with balconies that provide lovely sea views (use Aeroguard after sunset!). Clean and well appointed, including a lift and luggage trolley. The bed was perhaps a little firmer than our preference. It does help to have a car if you want to explore Bowen further. The pool is small but pleasant. We were (unintentionally) difficult guests but were treated with absolute kindness and courtesy. We hope to visit again next year for a longer stay.
