We stayed at Le Chambord on a recent weekend away to look at the beautiful fall color...Le Chambord was the perfect place to stay ! The hotel is very charming and the service was impressive..Try to stay upstairs in the main house as we did - the room was an updated room with a comfortable king size bed with an iron headboard..charm deluxe ! The restaurant was 5 star - treated like royalty. I had the lamb and my husband had the salmon..both incredible. Will definitely be staying here again next fall !
Very nice staff. Great room. That was all good. Unfortunately, it was a lovely day and we wanted to sit outside, but the noise of the road was interfering. Also, there is no common room, so be sure to bring your own magazines and things to do in your room. The TV works on wifi, which is great, unfortunately, the wifi was too weak in our room and the hotel could do with some signal boosters. We didn't want the noise of the airco, and left a window open. Route 52 was surprisingly noisy, which was a pity. Small adjustments will make it better.
Nice place to stay. The room was recently remodeled. The staff was great to deal with and available 24 hours. I had a late check-in. Someone showed me to my room.the location was great and there was not much road noise nearby like some of the others local Inns.
For father's a day present we surprised my husband with a weekend getaway at Le Chambord June 22nd. It was a very pleasant experience. We've been going to Le Chambord for years so when we heard Roy had sold the business we didn't know what to expect. The Curry sisters did not disappoint! These sisters have breathed new life into this place. The renovations are beautiful! Our room was very nice. Cathleen was very friendly and took care of a minor mix up in our reservations. Antonio was also very accomodating. Our server Bobby, was wonderful! The food was delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed himself. We will definitely go back! Congratulations to the Curry sisters for doing a fantasic job taking over Le Chambord!
