We came to Elizabethtown for our daughter's wedding Oct 4-6. We cannot say enough nice things about our stay at the Namaste. David was an incredible host- you had me a warm chocolate chip cookies every evening David! We had wonderful conversations over delicious home cooked breakfasts that could have last all day had we not had a wedding to go to. The Inn was spotlessly clean, our room was comfortable and spacious. We had our own private bathroom, which you do not always get at Bed and Breakfasts. I highly recommend this place
The accommodations were perfect! A room with everything you need and more. In addition, David, is welcoming, knowledgeable of the area, interesting, and willing to go the extra to make your stay feel like family. Upon arrival the house had the aroma of freshly baked bread which was the next morning’s French toast breakfast. In the evening, home made chocolate chip cookies were in my room. The conversations around the table were fun, diverse, entertaining, and interesting. All of this with spotless accommodations along with a very comfortable bed. A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the state. Highly recommend a visit! Be sure to give Wilson the dog a friendly pat too.
I recently stayed at the Namaste Inn for the second time. And again, it was just a lovely experience. It is such a good feeling to pull up to this Inn after a long drive. The proprietor, David, is extremely welcoming, as are the accommodations themselves. Clean, comfortable and charming with my en suite bathroom with super water pressure! I forgot my hairdryer, but no worries, my room had that covered. I took the time to walk through a beautiful nature trail that is directly behind the Inn. It was soothing and perfect after having been sitting in a car. The Inn is so peaceful, yet we had full WiFi to connect when necessary. David knows I'm a vegetarian, yet my travel companions were not, so the breakfast was stellar. Something for everyone! Our table was covered with a variety of yummy fresh food including homemade waffles, breakfast meats, granola, yogurt, fresh fruits and berries and endless hearty coffee so I couldn't have been happier. It was so satisfying we skipped lunch that day. The resident dog Wilson is a well behaved sweetie so it was fun to see him again. David is thoroughly knowledgeable about this scenic part of our lovely New York State and is happy to discuss all with his guests. I look forward to my next stay and can't express how upset I'll be if it's booked when I want to visit again!
Great for Couples and Adults that enjoy tasteful and quiet accommodations in Elizabethtown and Lake Champlain area. The house was spotless and the linens on our bed smelled like sunshine . He has 2 upstairs rooms with Baths and a upper level Yoga Room. We stayed in the Blue Room which has a private bath with walk in shower. The white towels, clean fixtures and hot forceful water added to our enjoyment. Our Host David served a healthy and delicious breakfast , simply said he can COOK. The breakfast table which seats 6 was welcoming and featured cloth napkins and ceramic dinnerware. No Paper plates or plastic silverware reflects the care taken. We also enjoyed meeting his co-host Wilson a well behaved pouch that is eager to greet guests.
Great location with FootBridge Trail out the back door. Nearby are Many of the Lake Champlain attractions and Trails, David gave us detailed info on the area that was very much appreciated, Namaste!
This is how I would describe my stay at Namaste. Our car broke down on our way to Montreal. It was getting late. I called a few places and the Namaste B&B. Right away felt David’s warm welcome. He offered to come and pick us up which was very kind of him. Everything about our stay was impeccable: generous reception, cleanliness, comfort, service, helpfulness, friendliness, etc. The B&B is in a quiet area of this lovely town. The house is charming and well maintained. The place is very clean and tidy. The rest of it is the same standard: very clean room and private bathroom with thick white towels, big quality mattresses and bedsheets, tasty breakfast with waffles (my favorite) and blueberries, granola, etc. and a truly good coffee and even small cups to take away. Generally, I am picky about B&Bs and especially about cleanliness and food. Namaste was well beyond my expectations. And the host behind this is the reason. David will make your stay unforgettable even in the small details: explanations, attention, patience, etc. Thanks for all. EMT
