Affordable and very well managed.room was nice and comfortable, lots of restaurants near by .front desk very polite .very well maintained in general .I would have given a higher rating ,no pool ,they have continental breakfast ,,I highly recommend to the visitors for a great place to stay
This Econolodge is where I always stay if they are not fully booked. Rick Patel who is the manager there will do whatever is necessary to fulfill any needs or special request that I might have whether its a request for a first floor room or handicapped room or a non-smoking room he always makes it happen. The Air-Conditioners are way above the hotel standard and will actually freeze you out even if it's 105 degrees outside. Also the showers have great water pressure and the TVs are decent size and are HD!!! Best part about this hotel though is the price and the size of the rooms. They make other Choice Hotel rooms look tiny!! I recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.
This was my first time using an Econolodge. From the outside it looks like a Super 8 Hotel. But on the inside it is much better. The suite reminded me of a comfort inn suite room.
The couch that pulls out into a bed. King size bed. New flat screen tv with AT@T Direct Tv. Ceramic tile flooring in room and bathroom. Fridge/Microwave. And a full size ironing board and iron. Room is nice and comfy. Walls are thin though. If next door is too loud you will hear it.
Property is not large. So parking can get cramped fast.Had some out of town workers staying there for business. But it was not rowdy. Property is right off the interstate. And across the street from a Krogers, fast food joints plus a chinese sit down buffet.
I was only there for one day. But if I had to stay a week just grab food from Krogers, put in the fridge and you'll be okay. If in town again I would stay there.
This property is one of the more upscale of the Econo Lodge branded motels. We were given a first floor Handicap Accessible room for one night. The room was very large, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the property was quiet through the night. One thing that I did take not of is that trying to shower normally in the bathtub with the handicap seat apparatus is a tight fit and fairly uncomfortable. But afterward, upon getting out of the shower, the floor was like an ice skating rink. I think that they must have installed the wrong tile on the floor. When it is wet, it is extremely slippery. Other than that, no complaints. I would stay there again on a future trip. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when my first room key didn't work. He immediately made a second key and came to the room to try it himself and make sure that we could get into the room. Thanks for that.
First of all this is in a good location. Close to Memphis but not so close at the prices are high. The rooms are large and comfortable. However Peter checked me and gave me a hard time checking in. It took way too long and he explained to me that because I was checking in after 4 o’clock my card had already been charged. Hello I don’t care I know this is standard procedure for most hotels just give me my room. I requested a downstairs room because of my arthritis and he told me no because it was Monday I had to have an upstairs room. The problem is it was Wednesday not Monday so I don’t know why he said this to me. I finally get into the room and the bedspreads have holes in them and stains. I Called Peter and he tells me to bring the bedspread to him, so I do. Peter feels that it is OK to start screaming and interrupting me. He finally replaced the bedspreads and tells me to open them up and check them in front of him. I don’t do it I just want to go to my room and relax (this has been a long travel day) when I get upstairs these bedspreads have more stains on them than the originals. OK Peter you win I see how this works. I will never stay at any Econo Lodge again.
