Damp towels left in room. Room service threw away our food. Poor quality of construction (could hear everything). Wanted to be part of the wedding block but that was ignored. Just terrible all around.
I would stay somewhere else next time I travel. The bed is comfortable but the bathroom is tiny and the room is a bit run down to be honest . The staff just seems like they are doing their job but not very friendly in general maybe the Hilton’s need to pay them more ? I know Paris would never stay here.
When I arrived at the hotel, the employee was messing around with the automatic sliding doors, which shut as we were walking in, forcing us to awkwardly just stand in front of the door and wait until they opened again. Once they opened, the guy continued messing with the doors and didn't say anything to us, so we awkwardly stood at the desk waiting for someone to check us in. The guy who was working the desk told us we had to wait until the other guy was ready to check us in. He also didn't say anything to us - I had to initiate with him and ask if he could check us in. After the guy was finally done messing with the doors, he came over and proceeded to check us in without greeting us, asking us any questions, or anything. He seemed very cold and rude initially, which was increasingly the case as time progressed. I booked the room online and had multiple booking options at varying price points. I chose the option that included breakfast (it was an additional $29 charge). When I was checking in, the guy said "I see you didn't include breakfast on here, so breakfast isn't included for you tomorrow." When I responded and said I paid for it, he just continued to tell me I didn't. Then, after showing him my receipt, which clearly says "Breakfast included," he said "Oh but it's (referring to his computer screen) only showing that you paid for one person, so you both won't be able to eat breakfast tomorrow."
First off, how did it go from not showing any breakfast provided to magically showing breakfast provided, but only one person after showing him my receipt? Secondly, how does the hotel not have record of me paying an additional $29 for breakfast for the TWO adults that the booking confirmed would be staying.
Furthermore, when we woke up and went to grab breakfast on our way out, we made our way to the breakfast area (which was never pointed out to us - in fact, when I had asked what room we were in, the guy proceeded to talk to the next people in line and just said "it's written on your card." -- not once did he point us in the right direction, tell us where the elevators were, or anything, even after watching us wander around the lobby trying to look around for the elevator or stairs) and the lady greeted us asking us for our tickets. Nobody told us anything about tickets! The greeter told us they would have given us tickets if we had breakfast included on our booking when we checked in.
No warm cookies, no breakfast tickets. Terrible staff interactions.
This hotel is dated and the room lighting was very dim. There was nowhere to park one evening except very far away in an unlit area that did not seem safe. the walls are paper thin and I heard snoring through the walls.
We stayed here because my son has a soccer tournament. We booked 2 nights for 2 queens. The price was very good compare to other hotels. When we got there, we had a few problems at check-ins. However, the front office manager, Trissa Lind, took care of us right away. She even gave us free breakfast for both days and upgraded our room. Not that we needed it but Trissa went out of her way to make sure “her guests are happy”. We would definitely stay here again. Kudos to Trissa Lind!!!! The room was fabulous!!! And they have heated swimming pool, plus two hot tubs, one for the adults and one for younger kids. Oh and a sauna room too!! Hotel is not far from Mall of America or the Outlet mall. Great breakfast at the restaurant. Thank you Trissa for making our stay sooo much better.
