Room was clean and neat. Everything functioned. Grounds were clean and well cared for. Continental breakfast items were ok. Coffee was fresh. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming as well as informative.
Got a great night’s sleep too. I would definitely stay here again when in Michigan and you should too!
We just wanted to let you know that
Frankenmuth Motel is the best!! We
stayed there during the Bavarian
Festival and we were pleasantly
surprised with our room.
Our room was clean. It had a lot of
amenities that you don't find often
in other motels, such as an iron and
ironing board, soap dispenser,
refrigerator, microwave, and free wifi. The bathroom has a soap dispenser and shampoo dispenser. They even have a great continental breakfast.
We came in late, but they were very
accommodating. to us and we got
a great tip to,get a pizza at the
Lazy Dog Pizzeria. before they closed.
The motel even has menus for the
Bavarian Inn. All in all we were
impressed with our stay.
If you're ever in the area, we suggest a trip to Frankenmuth Cheese Haus,
a Bratwurst Sandwich with the Works
at Willie's, and stay at the Frankenmuth Motel. The price is
Virginia & Anthony Detroyer
Our group got a block at the Frankenmuth Motel for an event on the grounds of the Bavarian Inn and were very happy with our choice. Clean, quiet, large rooms with ample room for walking our dogs (and we religiously cleaned up after our dogs, as we appreciated the management's opening up extra rooms for dogs than they normally allow to accomodate our group). All ground floor rooms with easy parking for loading and unloading, ample outdoor lighting, and nicely appointed rooms with everything working nicely. The staff was very friendly. It was a very enjoyable week's stay and we would all happily return again to the Frankenmuth Motel.
We were supposed to stay at the Bavarian Inn when attending a local event, but found that the Frankenmuth Motel was MUCH nicer! Easy parking directly in front of our room, so we were able to unload directly into our room - unlike the Bavarian Inn , which would have mean a lot of shlepping and elevators).
It was totally quiet and peaceful. We especially appreciated the lovely privacy curtain, which could be pulled across so that the sink and bathroom area was private.
Would happily stay there again anytime.
Frankenmuth is like stepping back to a simpler time. Family owned motel with all the basic amenities you need. Very clean room with modestly updated features and a few nostalgic touches. Great price for a basic stay that included coffee, tea and some grab and go munchies. Although we opted to drive to town, the motel is well within walking distance from the downtown area, great shopping and charming eateries. If all you need is a comfy, safe and quiet place to lay your head, Frankenmuth Motel is the perfect place to stay!
