Entire Inn is newly furnished with quality decor. Quiet & safe area, yet close to good restaurants & shops. Plenty of parking, but most everything is within walking distance. Our room was adequate size & kept immaculately clean. Bed very comfortable; enough hot water & good window view. Breakfast was delicious — creative offerings, lots of food, excellent service. We enjoyed chatting with the innkeeper, and all of the employees were very friendly.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Drom Sott Sweet Dreams Inn as part of a fall weekend getaway. We were very happy with our choice. The young people (we assume college students) who manned the desk were all very warm, friendly, and hospitable. The lobby and breakfast area were charming - loved the sun streaming through the lace curtains at breakfast. Our room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. There was a helpful notebook with everything we needed to know about the Inn and the town provided, and the various books in the rooms and lobby were a nice touch. One minor complaint was that even though we were on the back side of the building, a streetlight was right outside our windows, and the white blinds did little to block it. If you need a dark room to sleep in, might want to bring a mask! Breakfast was a buffet, consisting of varying casserole dishes with some muffins, fruit, yogurt, and cereal, as well as Swedish fare. Staff kept the coffee and tea coming. All in all, we enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful getaway at the Drom Sott.
Lindsborg is a small community with big hospitality. Sweet Dreams Inn was the perfect place to stay while we enjoyed the art galleries and learning history of Swedish immigration to America. The inn was beautifully decorated. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and served graciously.
The guest quarters are uniquely updated with beautiful wall art reflecting a Swedish Heritage. The bathrooms are very roomy. The beds are some of the finest we have slept in. It is very, very quiet in the hallways. Coffee is out in the mornings on the second floor. The staff at the Inn are very knowledgeable regarding the sights and sounds in the city and they are very friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast room is so authentic and lovely. The food is homemade and the menu always includes Swedish specialties. Pastries are wonderful. This is a one of a kind oasis nestled in Lindsborg, Kansas and is worth a stop and stay over. WE oved every minute we were there.
When we visit family in Oklahoma, we always plan on staying the first night at the Swedish Country Inn, now known as Drum Sott, (Sweet Dreams in Swedish). We have done this for the past 20 years. This recently remodled Inn is a gem! The establishment and rooms have been nicly updated while keeping the original charm. The bathrooms are very nice as is each room. The beds are superb!. Breakfast is included and it is first class! All the staff members are very attentative and informative. Lindsborg, KS is a small Swedish community and Drum Sott is an absolute must stay-over stop!
