This is our third visit, we use it as our base when visiting North Wales, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, quiet location.....perfect! One of our party had trouble with the thermostat in their room and were moved immediately to a new room without any issue, the staff couldn't do enough for us all.
We'll be returning again next year.
Stayed here for 2 nights and it suited our needs as it was nearby for what we needed to do.
The room was fairly typical for Premier Inn. TV seemed to have less channels than usual, which wasn’t that much of a problem but unexpected as usually they have all the standard Freeview channels. Rather strangely the bed was not made up correctly as the duvet did not reach the edge of the duvet cover.
The guy we spoke to when checking in was particularly friendly and we had a bit of a chat with him. The lady on checkout was also friendly BUT when we mentioned being woken up on our second night but some drunken idiots, she did not say anything about the ‘Good Night Guarantee’ which I believe Premier Inn still offer!?
The Brewers Fayre next door did decent food in the evening and pretty decent breakfast.
We have stayed in numerous Premier Inns and I would say this one fell somewhere in the middle but overall we had no particular issues and so a score of 4 seems fair.
Overnight stay for a funeral. Family meet up. Comfortable room. Didn't really get the chance to check out the local area. Ample comfortable sitting areas and made the most of breakfast. Great friendly service from hotel and restaurant- especially Colleen at breakfast.
Typical premier Inn. Nice large room, very friendly service, good free wi-fi and the usual great full breakfast in the Brewer’s Fayre next door. Service in the restaurant was also excellent, but the restaurant itself was beyond shabby. The chairs were worn and filthy and looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in decades. The carpet was in similar condition. The table tops had years of grease embedded and all painted surfaces were chipped and dirty. There were tables outside that were not much used because the weather was cool and damp. However, several of them had ashtrays piled high with cigarette butts and other garbage, none of which was cleaned for three days. Crumbs on our table one day were atill there the next! This place needs a thorough facelift. I can only hope that the kitchen was in better condition. Premier Inn should tell them to shape up (they are a separate operation).
Stayed here on the 7th 8th 9th october... room 16 could probably do with a bit of maintaining.. bathroom sink has very little pressure coming out of the hot water tap, and there is a smell of mould in the bathroom also.... but on the plus side the staff on reception were very polite and helpful at all times... And a massive shout out must go to PAUL the manager who kindly offered to give my wife and i a lift to llandudno junction train station when we couldnt get a taxi in time to catch our train... your generosity and customer service skills went above and beyond.. Thank you very much sir...
