Don did an amazing job! He was very helpful! The room was very clean and nice. They staff had smiles anytime we entered and left. They made sure that we had a wonderful visit. Wonderful hotel to stay at!
Considering it was homecoming weekend here in Carrollton, I was su reprised how quiet and inexpensive it was. Front desk was nice, though they didn't explain the bill, check out times, or any of the normal information that front desks provide you with st check in. It may have been due to the lack of English skills. They did provide me with a goodie bag, had a bottle of water, a granola bat Nonetheless, the hotel did have a stale cigarette smell lingering, likely from before this became a Red Roof. The room itself was clean, had a working mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Linens were modern and fresh. Good, clean pillows. Bathroom was spotless. The one thing it definitely needs is to have the carpets ripped out. Carpeting in a hotel room is so cringe.
Wife and I stayed here one week so far. May have to stay another week. Very pet friendly. Excellent customer service. Hotel staff very freindly and knowledgable about area stores. Especially helpfull was housekeeping lady. She gave us directions to everything locally that we needed.
Could not have picked a better place to stay on short notice that allowed pets.
My only complaint would be people who do not pick up after their own pets. We pick up our pets messes and believe others should as well.
Other than that great experience.
My hotel experience was horrible. Terrible customer service and checking in took ages. The room had a terrible smell and the WiFi was super slow. The only reason we came was for the pool and it was closed. Wouldn’t recommend. Stay somewhere else.
Hospitality completely lacking. Can't believe any company would want their name associated with this place. The manager/owner was rude, not helpful in any way shape or form. The room was not cleaned appropriately (urine and pubic hair on back and sides of toilet.) Sink still had hair and wiskers. Manager basically kicked us out of breakfast room, this guy was a piece of work. Hotel had weird smell in the hall, wasn't heated up (hallway). "Broken pool" is how manager described the pool. If America's Best wants their name associated with this place I will never stay at one of their hotels again.
