Our family this summer stayed at multiple Residence Inns and all have been top quality so we were surprised when this one was sub-par. Upon entering into our first room the dog pee smell and musty odor was overwhelming. The carpet was coming up on the seam separating the bathroom and kitchen. We immediately asked for a different room. The front office staff member was accommodating and said he got us a room where it's been a month and a half since a pet was in the room. We were scheduled to stay 6 nights but had to leave after 3 because it was so terrible. The ants were everywhere. Dog hair was stuck to everything and you can tell the cleaning was non existent as there were visible clumps on the furniture and on the carpet. Even the one pasta noodle my son dropped below the kitchen table wasn't cleaned up and yes... the ants were all over it. After the 3rd night we asked to move out and cancel the remainder of our 3 days. They let us cancel without hassle. We also asked to be contacted by the manager but we didn't receive a call. The poor condition of the room had bad health effects on our children and myself and we lost a day of our vacation recuperating and having to move to another hotel.
We were pleased for the most part with this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was nice. Not much variance in breakfast choices, though. Our only complaint was the dogs. We had a dog next door to our room that barked often. The manager was sympathetic to our complaint. Had I know that dogs were allowed in all rooms, not just a certain area I would never have booked. The staff was wonderful, especially Mike Martinez.
I really appreciated that there is a kitchen with dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans.I have a specialized diet, so being able to cook while out of town was critical to even being able to make the trip.
It was spacious studio room with enough room to use and get around the table. The couch was comfortable for sitting and and sleeping. We had a great time doing things in the area.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Lastly, the staff were very friendly.
We usually stay at another hotel nearby when we come to town to see friends and family, but decided to try this place instead. It was just what we needed. A kitchen with a great sized fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, and dishwasher for the provided dishes. The room was set up as a studio apartment, but the desk, dresser, and swiveling tv provided some division between the living area and bedroom area. The hotel was in a quiet area, but close to local stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. There was a nice pool and hot tub, as well as a basic complementary breakfast. We’d stay here again for sure.
I've stayed at this property twice for work and have had good experiences both times. The rooms, while not the most updated decor, are comfortable, spacious and quiet, with plenty of cabinets, drawers, and closet space. The staff, especially Orlando, Chris, and I think Kate (?) were very friendly and accommodating. Orlando sets up a fruit-flavored water dispenser in the lobby; Chris came and fixed a stubborn window in my room, and Kate walked with me all the way to my room to help me carry all my bags. They do a lot of little things that add up to a pleasant stay.
Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening they hold a social in the lobby providing beer, wine, soda, along with various hearty snacks-- many times enough to make a meal. Housekeeping is also helpful and friendly. The location is good- my business was in Boulder and it was about a 20 minute commute. Downtown Louisville is nearby with lots of little restaurants, etc. I'd definitely stay there again.
