Stayed here for a quick overnight on a road trip. It was easier/cheaper to spend the day in SF and then drive a bit north for the night. Comfortable bed, dated room, could use a refresh. Good coffee with real cream in the morning which was nice. Friendly staff.
I was just glad to find a room as I had no reservations. I was a bit hesitant to go to an Americas Best Value, as I had a terrible experience at one in Red Bluff a year ago. This one however was very clean, quiet, had a pool, and best of all, could accommodate me without reservations. No easy task on July 4th weekend. Bed was comfortable, but the casino next door was the only place to eat nearby. Oh well, a lack of planning on my part....... Stay here if you can't find some place less expensive. Everything else I could find was in the $200+ range. Breakfast was bad coffee, snack style pastries.
The room was decent until you lay down and realize you would probably be more comfortable sleeping in you car. The bed was like cardboard, and the pillows were the absolute worst I have ever slept on. Not to mention, there was no parking and loud as all get up.
180.00 a night for what is basically an $80.00 a night dump. So cheap they don't even have a small, $10.00 hotel style coffee pot in the room. Price gougers taking advantage of evacuees and fire fighters during a huge, disastrous local wild fire. Noisy. Overstated bed sizes, calling two full size beds a "double queen room".
Never again! Very worn room, breakfast was poor continental. Oh, wait, coffee was hot, but that's all I can say. The close by Casino was good for a meal and has a cocktail bar. Parking was no problem and easy to find because it is close to the freeway.
