We are long time Mammoth Lakes visitors, at one time owning a condo on the golf course. Needing lodging for one night on a recent trip, I booked Juniper Springs Lodge. Wow! We ended up with a two bedroom suite/apartment, fully equipped, very clean and well maintained, It was beautiful. We had trouble getting the gas log fired up (pilot off) and the TV to work (unplugged), but maintenance came within a few minutes of my call to get them working. We found the lodging to be an outstanding choice, and a great value for what was provided. We stayed on an upper floor with a view of the garden, which we enjoyed while sitting on our nice sized balcony. Wish we had been able to stay longer. Juniper Ridge Lodge will be our first choice for future visits!
Just finished our second stay here in a 1 bedroom condo and had a nice stay here.
Located at the base of the Eagle lift at Mammoth mountain, Juniper lodge is extremely convenient to the slope, with nice views of such if you are lucky or book early I imagine. We never have had the view rooms, by the way. The conveniences and amenities that we really appreciate here are as follows: slope side location, ski lockers, easy underground parking, kitchen with dishwasher, hot tubs (three of these outdoors, which is fortunate as 1 or 2 of them are frequently broken), on site ski rental, coffee shop, free wifi, and game room. The rooms are small and basic, but nice. We ski all day, and have no great need for luxury, so do not expect it here. As well, plan to drive or catch a shuttle to go to restaurants, as there are none in walking distance. Finally, I cannot compare this hotel to any others in the area.
On a recent visit to the Mammoth Lakes area, I had the privilege of staying at the Craftsman-inspired Juniper Springs Lodge. The one bedroom condo unit I stayed in was immaculate, well-maintained and had a good sized balcony for enjoying morning coffee. The unit was well appointed (we even had bathrobes and swimming towels), daily maid service and fireplaces are standard, and all the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. An added benefit is secured, garage parking, and winter sports enthusiasts will appreciate access to Mammoth Mountain on a ski lift immediately adjacent to the property. Juniper Springs is very competitively priced for the quality and location it offers, and visitors will not be disappointed.
