It is a good value villa for its price. A little bit wear and tear but its smiling and friendly staffs makes up for it. Overall, it was beautiful and clean but the living room air conditioner seems to be not at full blast. Therefore when there are more people gathering together it tends to get a bit stuffy. Location wise it was so near to the waterfall and we had free entrance to it n so that was a major bonus.
Stayed here on June, 3rd as part of my family vacation.
Location was away from Ubud central (roughly 15-20 minutes on vehicle), very close to tegenungan waterfall. And very quiet area (thats why i booked here)
There is no lobby, just a simple desk on the alley to our villa which is enough. They offer fresh coconut as welcome drink that was appreciated.
Villa was very good. nicely design with 2 floors. I love how they design second floor with all glasses wall. It feels freedom and relaxing at the same time with floral surrounding. We event spot some monkeys besides our villa.
Besides second floor, i also love the design of bathroom in the main room.
Good cold private pool on site.
Breakfast was just taste so so, but enough to fill our tums
Staff was very good and attentive.
it was a relaxing experience.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. When we first arrived, we were a little worried that we had booked a place that was quite a way from Ubud centre, however we were delighted at the close proximity to the Tegenungan falls. It is literally a 10 minute stroll down the road and it has a number of places to eat and no shortage of tourist shopping.
You will definitely need your own transport to get around if you stay here, but the staff are more than happy to arrange for this for you. We decided to hire a scooter and that was great. Putri (receptionist) was always on hand with a smile and a willingness to help at any time. We were very appreciative on one particular occasion where she was arranged a medical appointment for us when we needed some help.
The setting itself around the complex is really pretty, surrounded by rice fields. The villas are very nice, each with a private pool (which was awesome) and deck. The bedrooms are a good size as are the bathrooms. The living area is on top of the bedroom and has a kitchen, a toilet and large dining lounge area and once again very pretty views.
Breakfast was lovely and you could eat it from the restaurant in the main reception. which has good views of Mount Agung and the surrounding rice fields.
There are a couple of little attention to detail things that if addressed would make the villa top notch in my mind.
Firstly, at the moment the restaurant is only open for breakfast.
It would be terrific for it to be open for other meals or coffee/drinks during the day as the views are fantastic and it's a really nice place to sit and watch the world go by.
The rooms were cleaned each day, but the tea bags, coffee, soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper were not always checked to see if they needed to be replaced. In addition, the toilet on the top floor in the dining/living area did not have hand towels or soap supplied which isn't the best. In the kitchen, there were no tea towels either. However, in the whole scheme of things this is all pretty minor, and we really enjoyed our time here.
Thank you for looking after us.
Our villa stay here with our family was wonderful and relaxing. The layout of the villa is interesting with bedrooms downstairs with direct access to the garden and lovely full length pool, whilst the upstairs kitchen and living area is accessible by outside steps, which could prove interesting during the wet season. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and the daily breakfasts were well prepared and catered for Balinese and western food tastes as required.
The location is the countryside, a 30 minute drive south of Ubud, within walking distance of the impressive Tegenungan Waterfall and a short drive from the woodworking village area of Mas. Due to its location a driver is needed for trips to places like Ubud, the Monkey Forest and various great restaurants, cafes and shops. Our driver Gecko was great - pleasant to talk to, informative and flexible in accommodating our varied plans, offering good choices of places to visit and enjoy.
It is a great place to stay if you're looking for some peace and quiet and to enjoy the facilities the villa offers.
Awesome place - really enjoyed it. Putri and the staff here were amazing and really engaging. The facility is an excellent one, and we stayed here as our last stop on a 3 week Indonesian holiday as we hate crowds and don’t like the idea of hanging in a small hotel room with 3 kids for several days.
The Villas have private pools, and the room service menu that utilises a nearby restaurant is very extensive - there's no reason to cook anything - which is great on holiday.
We also took advantage of the massage service that come to the Villas. Overall really happy - i'd recommend this place for anyone with Kids who wants an easy few days in Bali.
Particularly if you’re sick of the Legian / Kuta scene - this place is awesome.
