We stayed 4 nights in September and were very pleased with the hotel. We had a nice room with seaview and a small balcony. Located just across the beach promenade the access to the sea couldn't be easier. The bed was big, but the mattress a bit on the hard side. The pool was lovely, and the sunbeds very comfortable. The staff was friendly and forthcoming, the breakfast was very good with a lot of choices.
After this stay we were so content that we booked a week for next summer, and are looking very much forward to returning. After a few years of holidaying in Port de Soller, we have found a new favorite place to stay.
Hotel Marina probably has the best location and view on the bay. It's located in a tranquil area and has a lovely promenade and no road in front of the hotel. You literally step out of the hotel and walk onto the sand. Hotel Marina is a modern family owned hotel and not part of a chain. You are treated like family and it became clear that many visitors are returners. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were always willing to assist with any reservations one would like to make. The hotel has all the facilities required to cater for all needs. It seems to be very popular with especially German and Dutch visitors. The majority are mature adult visitors or young families with toddlers but no families with young or teenage children. There is no nightlife for young people hence the reason why the area is so peaceful. It has a lift and the hotel is disabled friendly. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool. What I in particular liked was the fact that there were always sun loungers available at any time of the day and one doesn't have to rush to find a sun lounger. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also available on the beach but have to be rented for the day. The hotel provides you with free beach towels. It has a large car park behind the hotel which is free of charge and there is no need to reserve parking space. Elsewhere in Port Soller parking is a problem but the Hotel Marina is privileged to have a large private car park. Hotel Marina also has a Wellness & Spa on the 6th floor. A jacuzzi and sauna are available and a slot must be booked at reception. Massages and other treatments are available and come highly recommendable. There is also a large lounge or reading room on the 6th floor if you would like to escape your room on a rainy day. Our room was perfect. It was spacious and had a fantastic view. Wi-fi is available and free. Our room was super clean and everything was perfect including the food.
Traveling as a group of 20 colleagues, the Marina hotel has it all with a superb location on the waterfront. Very friendly front desk, a comprehensive buffet breakfast and a swimming pool (although a bit cool). Room was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable, but a bit squeaky. View of the bay from the room is fantastic. Checkin late in the evening was super-quick.
We were 32 senior citizen from Norway staying in hotel Marina for a week. It was a super hotel for our groupe. Very nice rooms with balcony, a large breakfast every day . And we had two lunches and four buffet-dinner in the hotel . It was all great.
The hotel is situated only 15 meter from the beach in a quiet part of Port de Sóller .
The hotel have also a nice pool and spa.
The people in the reception was very nice and helpful .
We had a walk in the near by surroundings every day.
The tram going from Port De Soller to Sóller is a must. The old train from Sóller til Palma is also a must.
This was really a very nice holiday.
Second visit to this hotel. 6 adults. 3 rooms with mountain views. All rooms small, clean, comfortable. For a 3 night stay absolutely fine.
No noise during the evening. Bathroom small but ok, with a decent shower.
Comfortable beds. You sleep under a cotton duvet cover. (No duvet). We did not need a duvet, weather still very warm.
Room safe is free to use but you need to leave a 10 euro deposit at reception. Safe is big enough to hold a large I-pad.
The pool area is nice with decent sun beds. No problem getting a sun bed, this was during the first week of September. Hotel provides pool towels which you keep with you during your stay and can be changed during your stay.
Nice seating area outside the hotel, bar prices ok. Depending how busy the place is, bar service times can vary.
Entertainment laid on during the week, outside in the bar seating area. Usually a solo or duo act, very good, finishes 11.30.
Decent breakfast, good selection, cooking station makes omelettes etc.
This is a decent 3 star hotel with consistent standards. If you enjoy sea views with a balcony then go for it, excellent position right on the beach.
The hotel attracts an older customer base, which is fine for us. No yobs / idiots.
Port Sóller is a very pleasant safe bay with lots of decent restaurants. Nice beach, good sand ...
Beach sun beds (nothing to do with hotel) are an absolute rip off. 19 euro per day for two beds and umbrella. Buy yourself a parasol ...
