Really enjoyed our recent four night stay in the Sky room at Marari Dreamz.
Huge bedroom and balcony, all very clean.
Allwyn and Jency were great hosts, really kind and helpful, and Jency’s food was amazing.
We loved exploring the quiet local roads with the free bikes. Everyone was so friendly.
The pool was lovely after a days sightseeing, however the mats on the sun beds could possibly do with being renewed. The beach is ok with a few sun loungers and beach cafes, however it shelves deeply and the waves are quite large. It was great for watching the morning fishermen though, and generally enjoying the sea breeze.
We thought it was a good spot for soaking up rural life by the beach but also within easy reach of Alleppey. We would love to return one day.

We stayed at Marari Dreamz for 4 nights after a 7 night tour of Kerala. Jency and Allwyn were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. We were able to cycle around the village and the beach was about 7 minutes walk. It was very hot on the beach and it was nice to just sit on our veranda amongst the trees and spices relaxing. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you Allwyn and Jency for taking care of us.

Marari Dreamz is a really brilliant homestay. Allwyn and Jency were very welcoming even before we arrived they were extremely helpful in organizing transfers and answering our queries. The property itself is great. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk to the beach, 2 mins cycle, 25 mins tuk tuk to the backwaters. It's really quiet and peaceful setting. We stayed in the original outside room at the back of the kitchen area. The room was large, clean and the outdoor bathroom is a wonderful touch. The warm shower and air conditioning is a massive bonus!! We had a little garden area with seating where we had all our wonderful meals that Jency prepared for us, hammocks too! The front chillout area was great for relaxing, and playing carom and the new swimming pool is a great touch. Wifi coverage is excellent, very strong in rooms and communal spaces.

Allwyn arranged our back water for us without any hassle, including the tuk tuk there. His map of the local area was great when we borrowed their bikes and went cycling for a few hours. The food was incredible, Jency offered such a great variety of dishes and the quality of each was superb, probably the best / most consistent meals we had in our 2 week Kerala trip.

We were so glad we stayed here rather than in Alleppy itself. The trip to the backwaters was quick and you get some many more benefits staying here, quiet, big rooms, incredible food and a better locations in terms of having the beach nearby.

We will definitely stay here if we go back to Kerala and recommend Marari Dreamz to all our friends.

Our stay was flawless. Everything was thoughtful from the room, food to the experiences our wonderful hosts Allwyn and Jency provided. The personal touches were appreciated.

We stayed at Marari Dreamz during our stay in South India and it provided the perfect end to our trip. The resort is relaxing and only minutes away from the most beautiful and unspoilt beach.

We had stayed in hostels throughout our stay in the North of India and we were utterly spoilt at Marari Dreamz. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable we had a wonderful shower room which was partly outside which had just been renovated. It was blissful.

We visited places and had so many experiences that we wouldn't have known about nor had the opportunity to do without our fantastic hosts. We were shown around Kerela, boat trips organised without any hassle, taken to the town centre for gifts, provided the opportunity to ride an elephant and given behind-the-scenes tours of a local bakery which had expanded (which I loved as I love to bake and I love food!). Simple touches such as a tour of the garden within the homestay showing the spices and common ingredients will stay with me. The spice shop at the homestay means you don't have to travel far to be able to buy the ingredients to try to imitate the food you have tried when you get home. But most importantly we felt safe and involved because Allwyn and Jency are so welcoming with insight into the local area you wouldn't have had otherwise.

The food was fantastic and something I still miss - feasts which were homemade every day with all our needs were catered for. I was the only non-vegetarian of our group and the meals were without a doubt the most memorable of our trip.

I am have already recommended Marari Dreamz as I wouldn't have changed anything about our stay.

It was the perfect location and a dream place to stay with great hosts for company.

Hi Shaun, I am sorry for the late reply. We have rooms available for the mentioned dates and we would like to know about the exact date of booking. Regarding the sea it depends on the weather , the roughness of the sea. The place Marari is famous for the hight of the land as it the only place in Alleppey, where the lowest current is found. and it doesn't have any sea walls because it never need any sea walls. But during the end of May it is off course the starting of monsoons and the currents can get higher but if you book for one or two weeks , i am sure you will be getting a beach suitable for swimming at-least for 4 days a week,. The rest of the time you can do a lot of activities here. Thank you
