Just breath and open your eyes, Andalusian Summer is better than a dream.
We had a graet stay for two nights in the room Sueño Rosa and it was really perfect.
Atze and Cobie are very kind and give you precious tips for visiting the city and about the best places to eat.
The B&B has a wonderful view on Nerja and the sea, and the breakfast in the patio near the pool is something magic.
Thank you and see you soon.
Because I might not be able to reserve a room when I go back if it becomes too popular. This place is amazing.
The hosts are so nice, friendly and relaxed. It's like staying with family. They have two really cute dogs and give you the benefit of their knowledge of places to visit and eat without being too in your face. They made you feel like they cared and that having a nice time was important to them.
We stayed in a ground floor room with shared facilities. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The room is very tastefully decorated and has lots of nice touches.
Our bathroom was very big, clean and had separate bins, towel rails, soap dishes etch for the two rooms that shared the bathroom. It had a very large shower too.
We were able to use the lounge and patio area as we wanted which really made us feel at home.
The breakfast was really nice offering cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, pastries, meat and cheese. On offer was a selection of teas, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
There was an honesty bar which offered beer, wine, soft drinks, water, chocolate and fruit.
The pool area was nice with lots of sun beds and pool towels.
The patio and pool had solar lights round it and some beautiful decorations such as lanterns and Buddhas which looked amazing at night
You do need a car and initially the house is hard to find. Having said that I didn't want to leave and I never say that, I always can't wait to come home.
We felt so relaxed and at home.
The Andalusian summer B&B is nestled in a very quiet location just above the charming town of Nerja. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in the Suite Oasis room. The room was huge and had its own large terrace directly outside the room with its own sun loungers and 2 other terraces which were accessed from the main terrace. All of these terraces were private and only accessible from our room. One minor issue (Which we forgot to mention to Atze or Cobie) was that the doors from the room to the terraces could be difficult to open and close for some reason and had to be closed using quite a lot of force (Minor I know!) The room was well equipped and had air conditioning, a small fridge and its own seating area. The bathroom had double sinks a good powerful shower and had toiletries supplied. There was also a separate toilet just off the bathroom. Towels were changed daily if requested. The pool was lovely if not a little cool but welcome in the hot weather we had while we were there. The loungers around the pool all had comfy cushions and towels were free to use and again could be changed daily if required. We were allowed to take our towels to the beach on the understanding we brought them back with us !! Breakfast was typical continental and Atze or Cobie (The hosts) were there to offer us other options if requested which was a nice touch. The coffee was amazing !! Breakfast was had overlooking the pool and had lovely views of the surrounding areas. A lovely little touch is the 'Honesty Bar' which has a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks as well as some chocolate bars. The walk into town can be quite a trek, especially in the heat. You can do it in about 25 minutes going down hill but coming up the way can take 30-35 minutes. I would recommend the local taxis and you get one back up the hill for approx 7 Euros. Atze can also give you tips about various routes into town which may reduce the walk in. Before arriving we emailed the property about a transfer from the airport to the Andalusian Summer and Atze himself picked us up and dropped us off for a very reasonable price. We were also lucky enough to be given a lift into town on one occasion which was hugely appreciated. The location felt very safe and there is a good process in place for letting yourself in and out of the property which gives good independence. This is explained when you arrive. In summary, a lovely place with amazing friendly hosts who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Just be prepared for some walking. Would stay here again if ever visiting Nerja in the future.
Lovely couple who run this B&B, like staying with friends. They will do anything for you. The place is on the outskirts of Nerja, about 20 mins walk into town. We stayed in the apartment which was lovely, spacious, separate bedroom, enormous patio, fully equiped kitchen. There was plenty of cutlery, crockery etc, kettle, coffee maker.
The pool was good with loungers, extra towels etc. You could get ice cream, water, bottle of beer etc from fridge and write down amounts taken.
Nerja itself is a nice place with plenty of retaurants, cafes, etc, the balcon de europa, and caves of Nerja etc.
Its about 50 mins drive from Malaga
