The hotel is situated in a quiet sideroad away from the madness of the traffic in Jaipur. Though even here during the day you can hear the hooting horns as you can eveywhere. The service is excellent with friendly helpful staff. the owner lives adjacent to the property. the rooms are enormous and there is a swimming pool. it may be chilly but we did not try as that afternoon it was closed for some work on it.
the bus station is next door which is not noticiable except early morning when there is the sound of ding dong before an announcment of a bus . this was not really a problem to us. the food was very good both for breakfast and in the evening when a buffet was offered but they would cook if needed.

We stayed 3 nights in February during a hectic trip around Rajastan. This is a beautiful old building, surrounded by a pool and the owner's well kept garden in the centre of Jaipur. It is within easy walking distance of the Pink City. We had one of the old rooms, number 3, which was spacious and amazingly quiet. The double bed was large and comfortable and bathroom well equipped with plenty of hot water. The pool area was a pleasant place to relax and the pool inviting but quite cold.
We had one dinner at the open air restaurant. The surroundings were attractive but the buffet was rather bland for our tastes. Breakfast was good.
The management and staff were considerate, friendly and helpful, always ready to give good advice about the local area.
Thoroughly recommended, we are planning a return trip next year.

We stayed for 5 days at Dera rawatsar and had the most peaceful time here. This area in Jaipur is one of the quiet and serene places, inspite of being close to the main
road. Its easily accessible to the old city as well.
Our room was pretty and peaceful to sleep in with all the amenities in it.
The thing we liked about this place is one, its staff who are the most courteous and warm people and very accommodative too. And secondly, the ambience and vibes of the hotel. If you are looking for a home away from home, nothing else will compare this place to it!
The highlights for us were the small yet fun swimming pool and many peacocks that sing around on the trees and terraces.
I would’nt think twice to return here!

This small, pleasant hotel with its little swimming pool was a pleasure to stay in.
It's only a short rickshaw ride away from MI road and restaurants.
Breakfasts were simple and adequate.
There is a centralised tipping system, whichis sensible.
