Bad hotel overall. Owner makes up stories to charge extra money for no reason. We payed for an executive room which is the biggest room and had a booking confirmation to prove this but he gave us a classic room which is the smallest room. We even had complimentary breakfast in our package but were not provided breakfast. We asked for toiletries thrice and did not get them. You need to beg to get the Wi-Fi password. They do not provide shaving kits, irons or hair dryers which are a must for any hotel even if they want to charge you for it. Fridge did not work and was not even repaired upon asking. Food is average. Towels are too dirty so if you plan on staying here get your own towels! But my advice is don't stay here. The rooms are not worth Rs.100 per day also.
We booked two rooms and stayed there for two nights.
Things you will like:
Despite the busy city this hotel is located at a fair distance away from the city noise
* Good and clean room
The rooms are clean with basic amenities. Includes tea kits with electric kettle along with a small refrigerator
* Beautiful reception area
The reception area is beautiful. The check-in was quick however we pre-booked the rooms online
* Really refreshing terrace top
The terrace top is really refreshing with a small swimming pool and seating area.
The highlight was the artificial grass mat and the view of the whole city
Things which might disappoint:
* The pool is not well maintained. The swimming pool tiles were broken at certain areas
* The pool towels were not available
Upon requesting for the same we were told that the laundry has not yet arrived and therefore we were directed to walk to the room with wet clothes and that too from the fire exit stair case. Staff should ensure this shouldn't be happening ever with any guest. I have never experienced such a thing in my life.
* Staff lack hospitality
The staff needs more training on hospitality.
Despite our recurring requests to put extra soap in the washrooms we were never given that
We ordered Tea which upon following up after 20 mins we were told that since there is a function going on in their ground floor party hall their staff is occupied and therefore Tea is not available.
Who does that!!
* Over priced restaurant
They have a in house restaurant on their 5th floor which I believe was a little overpriced
* In room mini-bar (only non alcoholic beverages) was not operational
The mini-bar menu was available however there is nothing in the refrigerator.
Not sure what happened there
* Very few options in breakfast
The breakfast they serve are all veg with very few options to choose from
All in all if you can somehow make up your mind on how to deal with hospitality part,you can go for this property.
We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel sallow royal suites. It is centrally located and easy to get around to all the places one wants to visit and see. We enjoyed our time there very much.Nd the rooftop view is awesome.
Helpful staff, the front desk arranged various cabs for tour of the city and ride back to the hotel at reasonable rates
Breakfast is not included in the base rate.
We booked the family suite for 4 friends. Though the room was good and well maintained, the smell throughout the hotel was terrible. As we entered, the whole lobby smelt of paint plus pesticide. Our bathroom smelt of leaking gutter. Someone came and checked, said something about faulty septic tank and sprayed some cleaner liquid which made it worse. When we asked for another room, we were first told no rooms available. Then 2 options were given - however the smell made it impossible to live there. We therefore had to vacate the hotel at 1 am as we could not use the bathroom nor could we sleep with that smell!
