Location: Traffic is a nightmare in Manila. So, because Princeton Residence is right next to the LRT2 Gilmore Station, getting around the city is much easier and quicker. There is an ATM machine/bank on the ground floor as well as a 7-11. The grocery store is a 4-5 minute walk. It is in a relatively safe part of Quezon City although there are homeless people outside the closed LRT2 station at night together with some people "hanging around".
Building: Relatively new. As everyone have said, the lobby looks great with comfortable seating. There is no reception, no concierge, it is not a hotel. It is a privately owned condo that is being rented out to tourists short term. There are 4 lifts but they are inconsistent. Even if you press the down button, a lift could bypass your floor and I have no idea why. There is a swimming pool on the 7th floor which you can use for 150 PHP a day per person.
Room: Adequate size room with enough space for a double bed, a wardrobe, a sofa, and a dining table. The bathroom was a good size and so is the kitchen. Since we cooked breakfasts and dinners, the kitchen saved us a lot of money. I do wish there had been 2 hobs instead of the 1. The air conditioning worked well. It was clean with no sign of ants or cockroaches. We had 2 condos side-by-side and I could not hear anything in the other room so the rooms are soundproof.
Service: We had to leave at 7:00 am to catch an early flight. I'm glad I called the management 30 minutes before because, even though I told them the day before, they had forgotten. Also, this may not have been the management's fault but we had clothes laundered and we paid double to get it the night before we left. We got 2/3 of the clothes the night before but the company forgot to bring the other 1/3. They promised to bring it by 6am the next morning. It arrived at 6:45...15 minutes before we were about to leave!
