We stayed here for 2 nights and booked out one night in advance to a better hotel.
Room was below average. Bed felt old and squeaky. Aircon was not maintained well and emitted a mouldy smell. Carpet felt sticky. Thankfully I had two pairs of bedroom slippers in my luggage taken from the previous hotel I stayed in Busan. My husband and I refused to walk barefoot on the carpet. The slippers provided by Days Hotel were the reusable type that guests use repeatedly - I'm not sure if the slippers were regularly clean and didn't dare to use. Except for a comb and shower cap, no other toiletries were provided. The safe could not work. Door had no internal latch. TV works on a pay per channel basis.
My room reservation consisted of breakfast. When I was checking in, the front desk staff who attended to me was a middle aged Korean man. His English speaking capacity was limited I guessed. I asked about breakfast, he said "NO BREAKFAST." without checking my booking. Then he told me to pay for breakfast which I subsequently did, and then he reminded me "NO REFUNDS OK". Later I doubled checked my booking details and realise the price I paid included breakfast. Went down to the reception again, and this time, a younger front desk staff who could speak English refunded me the breakfast payment. The middle aged staff was still at the counter and didn't bother to apologise for his slipshod service (maybe his English was not good so he didn't understand what's going on?). Suggest that the hotel provide better training in terms of service and communication or redeploy him to back-end work.
Room was average if you're ok with budget standards.
Service was just terrible thanks to the middle age front desk staff. Not sure if he couldn't interact well with guests but he gives a very rude and unfriendly impression.
We have booked 3 rooms and stayed 2 nights here, the location is good that walking distance to the famous market and many restaurants nearby.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the check-in and check-out goes quick and smooth. Our superior twin room is spacious and clean. The beds are clean and comfortable, and comparatively bigger than the standard single bed.
The bathroom is spacious. Fixed shower head and hand shower are both available. Towels are clean. Shampoo, body wash and basic toiletries are provided. Kettle, mini bar, hair dryer, free bottle of water are also provided.
Lighting is good and big window allowed sunlight to come in.
Definitely will return!
I booked a 2 nights stay in this hotel for 4 people. The services is disappointing. After check-in, when I proceed to my room, I noticed that some room doors are open including my room. When I called the reception to ask them, they told it is normal as their housekeeping team is making some final checks. And they used a fire extinguisher in the room as a door stopper. This really makes me question the security and safety measures of the hotel. In my reservation, I indicated 4 pax but housekeeping only provided 2 towels and I had to called them again to request for more. After a long day sightseeing, when I went to the bathroom, I realised that the shower has not hot water. I called reception and ask them only to be told they will resolve it. I waited for 20 mins and decided to ask them again and was told they have resolved it and I have to wait 30 mins for the water to heat up. I feel they should have called me to inform me rather than wait for me to ask about the status. Second day after my tour, I came back to a room half cleaned. Why I would call it half cleaned is because housekeeping only replace the towels (left out 1 towel too), bed was made sloppy (blankets were not tucked in properly) and they didnt even bother to wash our cups. This is the second time I stayed here and I have such a disappointing stay.
The hotel is in a good location - walking distance to many shops and cafes (3min walk to Paris Baguette), with a convenience store located in the basement. Room had pretty basic amenities but was clean and comfortable. Lighting was slightly dim in the room. Front desk staff are not super friendly but the parking attendants are absolutely lovely. Only slight annoyance was the automated parking system - seemed cool at first but we were in shock when we had to wait ~15min just to collect our car on a busy weekend morning, so do bear this in mind if you're in a rush.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was a great stay.
The hotel is clean, room is spacious, staff are friendly, they have valet parking. The famous gimbap shop is just next door. Though I didn't get to try it as they were closed, but I tried the other gimbap shop nearby and it was superb.
Overall, really a great stay and will definetely come back.
